Title says it all, but yah, I am severely apathetic and my anything drive is nil zero.

perhaps you should look into Athymhormia. It means you aren't depressed and there aren't any deficits in your cognitive function you just have an extreme motivation deficit.
Noopept i've found helps for making repetitive tasks at least a bit less noticeable if you are dealing with alot of Ho Hum boredom on a day to day basis with what you are doing.

Ultimately no drug will give you motivation or remove an general apathy for life. What a drug will produce is side effect which make you no longer feel apathy however once those effects wear off unless some serious character work is done.
Likely there won't be much change. Do what you enjoy to do, ultimately is what we can suggest.

Noopept does the trick for me.
After being at home for 2years due to an injury, I'm just starting to fill my days with productive things, in the last months.
I started taking Noopept a good month ago and it definetly helps. I took pretty large doses in the first week (30mg+20mg), now I'm at 10mg in the morning, maybe another 10 at noon if the day is filled with tasks/sports. Sleep at night is better, waking up early is no problem. Being productive all day is not an issue. Also, until 2months ago I smoked weed daily to get my mind of being unproductive. No problems quitting whatsoever.

^^ I respectfully disagree.

The best 'nootropic' is the one that you don't have to take. It comes from within you - it's your internal source of intelligence. That's what the best nootropic is.

True, but some (I for that matter) need help connecting to that inner intelligence.
Magic Mushrooms, yoga, Noopept, studying, eating healthy foods, reading books, browsing fora, .... None of these are necessary. They just help you on the path.
Everyone is at a different stage of the path so indeed, what works for me will possibly not work for someone else. But this still is a forum to share experiences :)

I agree with Rog, aniracetam is a pretty good one.

phenyltropil the best for that increases dopamine but only seen it in russia :P

Dopamine is really relevant to motivation IMO, but it tends to be what stimulants act on rather than nootropics. Phenyltropil is phenylpiracetam, best to just source the powder (no not just the russian product) but it seems to be relatively expensive. I haven't tried it but I have tried many other racetams & nootropics.

its pretty good one mildly euphoric visualy enchanicing have great racetam qualities . with just 200mg i was very concetrated and motivated to read analyze walk breathe nice one without the piracetam sleepiness

Ive found modafinil to be quite helpful with motivation, although if i use it for a few days in a row i feel quite flat and unmotivated once i cease use & its not really something that is wise to take every day.

I'm going to second phenylpiracetam. It's the only nootropic I've taken that gave me a noticible increase in motivation. The first time I took it I almost immediately sat down and worked for 4 hours or so, something nearly unheard of for me. Unfortunately this effect seems to have waned. Initially I was going to take it ~once a week but it seems as though it's motivational effects are quite dimminished even at this frequency. In general I've noticed that the first time I take a nootropic is often vastly different from subsequent times, I'm not sure if this can all be chalked up to tolerance but it is a little strange to me that tolerance would build after only one dose and last forever. I've heard good things about modafinil but that's getting a little too close to a traditional stimulant for me, I tend not to react well to them.

Phenylpiracetam works great for me, when it works anyways. It's kind of hit or miss, and definitely rather expensive. Seems like it's most effective when only used on occasion. A few times I noted a kind of uncomfortable stimulation which seemed to be smoothed out after taking some aniracetam with it. Certainly increased focus and motivation when it actually works. Odd one for sure...even when there was not much noticeable effect, it still seemed to cause a bit of insomnia. Usually anymore I take it on early mornings after long evenings (not much sleep) and it seems to make me more alert/awake throughout the day.

Noopept can help with motivation to an extent, but seems (at least for me) to be more effective in every way after taking it for a while. Occasional dosing with noopept seems to put me on edge a bit (easily irritated), but this seems to smooth out and go away after a few days to a week of taking it daily (unless dosing above 50mg or so).

Unfortunately, nothing really works very well for motivation on the long term if it cannot be found within oneself. Sincere interest in what you are doing can be rather motivational, but that may not always be in the cards on any given moment. Often what we have to do and what we want to do are very different from each other, but it's a matter of perspective...
