Misc Best legal stimulant for working/studying?

Since I don't have a constant supply of ritalin nor do I have a supply of speed of any sort I was wandering which legal stimulants would be good for working or studying. I personally find that ritalin works wanders whilst amphetamine is slightly less good (but its street stuff so who knows what I'm actually getting and of what purity.

I know mpa apperently has very little euphoria and is therefore meant to be pretty good, although I've never tried it I've heard mpa is cardiotoxic so that kind of puts me of using it. Ethylphenidate the one time I tried it was horrible although it was recreationally, I got a minute amount of stimulation for a large amount of comedown and feeling awful. I can also think of camfetamine, but don't know too much about it. Finally ephedrine but although its legal in the UK it seems very tricky to get your hands on. Does anyone know any others and which work best for them?

you say that MPA's cardiotoxicity is mainly what keeps you away from it but i think most amphetamines and rc amp like substances are gonna be somewhat toxic in some form or another, i think thats just to be expected with amp n amp like drugs, i may be wrong n someone will chime in if i am saying this or this isnt really toxic but that sorta thing is just part of the nature of the beast if you're gonna use those substances

even caffeine can be toxic so imo its just one of those things you gotta expect with stimulants sure some are better or worse then others
 
While I've personally never tried it, I think that most people would recommend modafinil. Don't know the current legal status in the UK, but afaik it's a prescribed med.

Fairly sure 2-FMA is illegal in the UK?

HighonLife Caffeine is an awful stimulant, I can honestly say the one time I've noticed caffeines psychoative properties is when I had a coffee whilst I had a cold and felt restless and jittery, but not stimulated. I used to get sleepy after drinking coffee but I don't get that now since I drink it regularly (out of my like for the flavour rather than keeping me awake) but I'm assuming that was caused by something else in coffee rather than caffeine because tea doesn't make me sleepy.

I've head of modafinil but if its a prescribed medication I still can't get hold of it right? No legitimate online website would will sell it to me (I feel like a teenage trying to buy alcohol :( )
 
This is essentially a what-do-I-take thread, and since you see to be mostly discussing illegal research chemicals instead of the harm reduction behind the safest legal stimulant, I'm going to close this. If you use the forum search engine, you can find an abundance of material on this topic.
