So much sometimes my breath

Where is our friendship?
It is here, just camouflaged
By school, work, distance, priorities,
Time, interruptions, and a thousand other things
I miss daily interaction, the talks, the bullshitting
and everything else.
Our friendship never left me however, and it never will.
There is a reason we are best friends.
I can list about a million of them.
Like the sea
Friendship, as with all relationships,
Ebb and flow with life.
We may drift out
But the water always comes back to shore.
I am never far away
We will be back to shore soon.
I don't know if you ever look in this forum, if you do know that I love you, you are the sister that I never had
