Opioids best euphoric extended release pain killer?? PLEASE HELP!!!!

i recently had to start going to PM doctor for transverse mylietis, its a viral infection that inflammed my spinal cord.....
its very pain-full, so my doctor put me on oxy 30 instant release and oxycontin 30, the oxycontin is the OP formulation and it doesnt work at all....
so i was wondering is there any extended release pain killers that dont have a weird formulation?

any suggestions on what i should try? it would be greatly appreciated......

BTW, im new here, so idk if this is the right tread.......:?
