Best brand of butane?

For honey oil, any recommendations? I read on erowid that some brands leave residue from impurities in the gas and was wondering if anyone had tested various brands in Aus or had a brand they considered clean as a whistle?

While I can't answer your question, have you considered using acetone instead? It's potentially much safer

Venti brand works well, cheap stuff from $2 shop not so well.
Apparently Ronson brand is fine too.
Don't try use the gas stove butane carts, I've heard bad things about using them.

You can test the butane for purity by squirting an entire can into a pyrex dish and letting it evaporate.

If it leaves a residue then it's a big fail.

I have noticed some brands change in purity from batch to batch so it's safe practice to test each batch for purity rather than ruin your beautiful honey oil.
