i tried lorazopam only (.5mg) and it made me feel calm relaxed and confident. i loved it, do all anti anxiety's give you that feeling? what are the different feeling you get from the different types? thanks

http://www.benzo.org.uk/bzequiv.htm

I recommend you read through the entirety of that site, but that table will answer the question for each benzo. (Market Aim)
Keep in mind there are many, many variables that can make benzos react or work differently from person to person. Some people hate Klonopin for x and y reason, whereas some people hate Valium for y and z.

Moving to basic drug discussion.

As I said in your other thread, all benzos will give you similar effects. You can find a lot of information about various benzos by using the search function. There are even many threads comparing them. It's subjective though so different people prefer different benzos. SSRI's are a different category of anti-anxiety meds that act on you differently so no, they don't all feel the same.

Based on your other thread, this is something you should talk to your doctor about, not people on a drug forum about IMO. Your doctor is going to be the one who will control what drug he prescribes you no matter what we suggest.

IMO, you really should stay away from benzodiazepines (Lorazepam for one like you were talking about - not it as an E after the Z not an O, sorry your misspelling of it was really bothering me haha). They are addictive, with long term use (longer than 1-4 weeks) you will build a physical and mental dependence that will give you WDs if you suddenly stop, and don't actually fix your anxiety, making your anxiety actually worse once you stop taking them (benzos modulate a certain type of receptor in the brain, and with long term use will end up resulting in a change in the receptor responses because of it. This leads to an increase in anxiety when you aren't on benzos any more, among other things like trouble sleeping, etc.). If you really want to help your anxiety, go to a therapist. The best way to over come your anxiety is working through it. You'll be 100x better of with out drugs like benzodiazepines. Set a sleep schedule so you get a solid 8-9 hours every night while keeping your bodies clock that same, eat really healthy, exercise 4-6 times a week for at least 20-30 minutes, and see a therapist. If you do all of those with the tips the therapist gives you, you'll be able to over your anxiety.

Yea I should have just closed this thread instead of moving it.

We can't recommend drugs for you to take, that's not the purpose of this site. If you plan on taking medications and you would like to know what would be a safe dosage to take, or what you should avoid taking with it then you can ask those types of questions here. We don't allow 'what should I take' types of threads though, so I am going to close this like I should have before.
