Opioids Best 10 mg methadone pill, ideas for potentators or resetting the receptors??

OK, been having a problem. Well, 2 I guess you'd say. Between my sticks and my methadone pills, I'm getting practically NO BUZZ. Usually, I go to a small "mom and pop" kinda thing but I was one day early with the 29 days in Feb so I didn't even go to that one. Instead, I went to one of the big, commercial pharmacies who give me round, 2 mg xanaxs and the little round 10mg methadone with numbers on one side.

I used to think the square with the Ms and the 2 mg sticks were superior in quality. Yesterday, I took... about 30-35 of the round methadone and 11 2mg xanax and got pretty much NO buzz. It sucked. And I wasted 3 and a hald fays of methadone pills. And this was 40 mins after 2 glasses of white grapefruit juice and 2 tagamets.

I know the REAL solution is to go through a 3 week, hell-on-earth kick and basically reset my receptors. Can't really do that now though bc I have to be able to function. Plus, the area where i live, the little 14 yr old idiots are making life difficult and they're busting everyone's balls from the doctors to the pharmacies. We have a real pece of scum with political ambitions as the new local Da and he's making life hell. Just found out yesterday they're gonna set up a computerized thing thing where Drs and pharmacies can view every pharm you've had something filled at and every dr. you've seen. All they're gonna do is push people back to diesel.
ANYWAY, I'm pretty close with my doctor, and he tells me that for generics, all they are required is to be anywhere between 70% and 120% of the dose they say is in there. He says half the time it could be chalk in there, who the hell knows. Anyone know if the ones with the "M"on it are the brand name? It was invented in the 40s in germany right so I assume there's no longer a patent.
BUT FOR ANYONE WHO HAS HAD A METHADONE SCRIPT AND HAS HAD BOTH KInDS--THE ROUND ONE WITH THE NUMBERS AND THE LITTLE RECTANGULAR WITH THE M, WHICH IS BETTER IYO?

ALSO, OTHER THAN THE WHITE GRAPEFRUIT JUICE AND THE TAGAMET, ANYONE KNOW OF ANY OTHER POTENTATORS? THANKS FOR ANY HELP

The varying % in generics is for the inactive ingridients I believe. As for the active ingidients, they are all the same.

How do you even get an opiate high when you also take 22mgs of xanax? I find benzos to dull the euphoria that I get from opiates, so I don't mix the two (I'm scripted benzos, but take less on days I take opiates). So could it be that you were too barred out to get the true euphoria from the methadone? I know they make you nod easier, but it doesn't feel like a true opiate nod to me.

Potentiating is only going to exacerbate an already dangerous combination. I think that the xanax/methadone combination accounts for the largest number of fatal overdoses in the US. The line between getting high, and fatally overdosing it a very thin one.

I'm scripted the round roxane tabs, and they are no different than the "stick" tabs. its 10mg no matter the manufactor (or five if you get the roxane 5mg tabs as they have 10mg and 5mg round tabs).

Also I agree with Tommy. For the most part I find benzos really do take away the euphoria. Though, if I don't take to much of a benzo with methadone in particular (like 1-2mg of clonazepam ) I don't find the euphoria to be really any different, and there is a bit of an increase in the sedation. I think the loss in euphoria for the combo of opiates and benzo might have something to do with the fact that opioids actually decrease the release the release of GABA and general number of inhibitory responses from GABAergic neurons, while the benzos increase the inhibitory responses from GABAergic neurons through receptor modulation. I'm not sure how exactly this would decrease the euphoria, but I do know this takes place.

It wouldn't surprise me...A kid I went to high school with and smoked with a couple of times died from that exact combo...I don't know how much methadone they found in his system, but they found 14mg of xanax in his system...

The variance is stated for inactive substances. If the company does not list the exact dose of an active substance on their packaging then they are liable for a lawsuit for false advertising, and probably worse being that it is such a highly scheduled substance.

If this was true, then there could be one lucky fucker at the production factory skimming 30% off every dose before it goes into the pill.

You need to go on a benzo taper ASAP for one and need to reevaluate your drug taking.

That dose of xanax is def ridiculous for anyone (doesn't matter if you can handle it, that tolerance is HUGE), let alone in combo with methadone which is notorious for it's associated deaths. Methadone is a potent mu-agonist that can produce large amounts respiratory, and does with other respiratory depressants like benzos, brabs, alcohol, etc.

Also, methadone can produce tolerance fast. It isn't very recreational once you start using it multiple days in a row. Really the only way to keep being able to use methadone recreational ime, is to keep your doses/tolerance below 60-70mgs, and only use 1-2 days max in a row. Taking at least 5 days for a break between dosing periods is also important to not lose the magic.

I love methadones high, but when I started taking it 4-5 days in a row every 1-2 weeks, I stopped getting the same high from it. It would have even a 9-12 hour nod period in the 24 hour high at first with doses between 40 and 60mg. It was real euphoric and sedating. As good as any oxycodone or hydrocodone high (was in a tie with oxymorphone as my favorite opiate at this point). Now that I started to take it 30mgs a day (and 20mgs before this past 3 weeks), I really only get a good long lasting buzz from it. Kinda like taking a low to medium dose of oxy or hydrocodone that last all day. I can't complain about getting a 30mg a day script though. I can't abuse it much because it doesn't get me real high, but I don't have to worry about coming down in the middle of the day.

I can't really talk about using xanax alone though...I went through 14mg in 3 hours not too long ago...couldn't get a high for some reason...3 days later...I pop 4mg and pass out lol...

Listen, if you're prescribed methadone just call your pharmacist and maybe your doctor too and tell them that _____ brand is not working AT ALL and that you're feeling like shit because of the different brand.

Agree that your benzo tolerance is huge, and it would benefit you to do a Taper and not just cold turkey as it can be very dangerous and deadly...

But, to answer your question, IMO the coffin Methadones with the boxed M manufactured by Mallinckrodt are stronger per 10 mg.....,than the round ones with the '54 142' imprint.
