Lost. Always have been it seemed.
For a short term such as 3 weeks, is there evidence that say Clonazepam could improve ones daily-experienced major depressive symptoms? What’s a brother supposed to do except wait in their room, eat healthy, cry, and wait some more until it’s time to go to work or some other commitment.

no don’t use depressants to get out of a depressive episode. yeah some of it is waiting it out, but some of it is also what you do while waiting it out. you can reduce the amount of time in that terrible depression by working out, eating healthy, being sober, getting the right amount of sleep, and forcing some amount of socialization. yeah all those things may not be achievable because of the depression, but aim for as many as possible. with a big emphasis on staying away from hard drugs, which absolutely includes benzos.

sorry to hear you’re feeling terrible. glad you know it will let up.

Well a light dose of Benzos helped me, mainly because my depression was caused by Severe Anxiety in general.Help me to quit
Isolating myself from the whole word.Im on prozac now and dont feel much of a difference in anxiety levels, Gabapentin helps but not near as much as a benzo.Just dont take a high dose just take a 1mg or so since you are prescribed them.Im sure the docs have a reason to put you on them.

If you don't feel better then go to another psychiatrist. I'm a doctor and I can recommend a few antidepressants coupled with a benzodiazepine, for example, Venlafaxine and Clonazepam, you'd be taking the Clonazepam for a month meanwhile the Venlafaxine takes roughly 6 weeks to take full effect. There are other options to Venlafaxine but point is, if you don't feel better the answer aren't benzos.

Venlafaxine is effexor right. It made me have terrible anxiety and feel really weird.Does it eventually help with anxiety?I'm currently on Prozac which helped at first but ain't doin shit now.Ive never been on a SNRI but I hear that they also help energy levels is this true??

Yes if it’s suggested by a doctor of course

I can only tell you about my experience and Xanax helped me a lot when I was really depressed. I didn't take little though, I remember taking 4-5 mgs as an initial dose of the day and keep on buildind on it by 2 mg doses during the day. I used to get chatty, good mood and I used to cook on it, then eat the whole thing. This went on for a couple of months which was great. As we all know, it comes with the risk of addiction, dependancy and possible accidents or fights/ arguaments. I'm pretty sure that it would make some people more depressed than before but it worked for me.

That’s the most important thing what works for you
