Does benzos remove your cravings for nicotine? I feel like i cant get that "reward" feeling when im using swedish snus and klonopin and i notice i use less of it. Is it because gaba stops nicotine from releasing dopamine or something like that?

Yes benzodiazepines are likely dulling the stimulation and reward sensations of nicotine, though not everyone is going to find this to be true.

Keep in mind also nicotine is going to reduce the effects of benzodiazepines such as clonazepam.

How will it reduce it? Ive seen that cigarette smoking metabolises xanax by 50% but that could be because of the chemicals or is it the nicotine. Snus is an oral product with no added "chemicals".
Does nicotine itself reduce klonopin effects?

Tobacco smoke can increase the activity of several liver enzymes such as cytochrome P450 systems - primarily CYP1A2 but also CYP2A6, CYP2B6 and CYP2D6, which are responsible for metabolising many different types of benzodiazpines. Enzyme induction results in faster clearance of benzos from the body reducing serum drug levels and decreasing efficacy.

I don't believe it's the nicotine but rather the polycyclic hydrocarbons and other tar-like compounds found in tobacco smoke.

*ding ding ding* we've got a winner! %)

It's true, If I smoke 2-3 ciggz on a benzo, I quickly find my buzz to fade. It's true, I remember taking klonopin and claiming that they did not work; but it was because of my half a pack a day habit.
