benzos and ambien munchies

we all know about the reports of sleep binge eating produced by ambien, but has anyone else seen a corelation between benzos (xanax especially)? I have read on this forum that ambien is similar to benzos, but not quite the same. I am no chem major, but how are the chemicals different? is there a similarity that can cause both to make you constantly eat while under the influence? any info appreciated

mah benzos make me eat so does alcohol although i gets more ridiculous on benzos

for short downers make me hungry even opiates when the nod is over although then i usually go for icecream or chocolate

Benzos doesn't make me hungry at all, that's strange...

However, Alcohol, Opiates, Antihistamines all make me VERY hungry...

lots of CNS depressents do that to me anyway...well not the sleep walking part...but yeah..up to about 60mgs dose`s of K and booze will do that to me...muchies munchies munchies...

Well...Ambien in particular doesnt make me hungry at all,
Antihistamines on the other hand always make me feel like a smoked a few bowls...without being high(muchies duh)
