Benzos Benzo to Barb Conversion

Does anyone know a good website for benzo to barb conversions - Specifcially I'm looking for XXmg of Phenobarbital = XXmg of Xanax or Klonopin. I've googled and yahooed to no luck. Any help?

Well I scanned it and it's nothing to do with a chemical conversion of benzos to barbs. Which is still just as much a silly idea as it was after the OP. That link is more a reference in terms of comparable effects of barbituates [primarily phenobarbitone] with other benzodiazepines.

To the OP, there is absolutely no reason to convert benzos to barbs in this day and age (it can't even practically be done ... but anyhow) why did you ask this question in the first place?

Pegasus, there is no way in hell 180mg of phenobarbital=600mg of seco/pentobarbital(which aren't equal to butabarbital) or 1800mg of methaqualone! 9mg of valium isn't equal to 300mg of methaqualone! The author of that site probably got the bare minimum detox dose (30mg phenobarbital for every 100mg of pento/secobarbital) with an equivalent dose.Methaqulone is more like 2/3 to equipotent of seco/pentobarbital. Even if you factor in the shorter action of seco/pentobarbital(3-4hours) and methaqualone(4-6hours), phenobarbital action is 10-12hours, 180 of phenobarbital is still not going to feel like 200mg of pento/secobarbital 3x and 300mg methaqulone 2x.

The fake quaalude mimics have about 40mg of diazepam in them, not sure if would be an equivalent to methaqulone 300mg.Any South Africans/Indians or old timers that can compare?

The doses of xanax is .75mg to 4mg in 3 divided doses for anxiety and 1-10mg for panic disorder. klonopin is 1-4mg for panic disorder in 3 divided doses and up to 20mg for seizures. Phenobarbital is 30-120mg in 2-3 divided doses for daytime sedation, 100-320mg for insomnia at night, and 50-100mg 2-3x a day for an anticonvulsant. Remember that phenobarbitals lethal dose is about 5 grams, 1 gram is toxic, and even with tolerance it never goes higher than twice the non-tolerant lethal dose. Fortunately, tolerance levels off at 1.5 a day for barbiturate addicts.
 
^Thanks for the response... barbiturates are not my forte. I reopened this is so that we can hopefully get the OP some accurate answers.
 
I remember someone saying that 100mg of phenobarbital I think it was felt a lot like 2mg of clonazepam. I didn't try the pheno cause it might have been stolen from someone who needed it.
 
in terms of knock you the fuck out effect:

first hand experience, subjective effects, no benzodiazepine tolerance.

I have had the fortune to get my hands on some Nembutal in 2004. From what i recall, the above put me to sleep about the same. In terms of actual effects, they are a bit different. Barbiturates tend to feel a whole lot more like liquor and a dose of valium to me. With barbs, i also noticed a very pronounced spinning sensation while trying to fall asleep (at least the handful i have sampled, very very limited experiences with them due to them virtually being unavailable). Midazolam did not do this to me.
 
Damn, good score rave23. I always wanted to try the old school downers, Seconal, Nembutal, Doriden, and Quaalude(fuck I love that name!). I've heard that phenobarbital can't even compare to the big boys. Too bad euthanasia advocate Philip Nitschke had to bring attention to the vet pharmacies in mexico and fuck up that source for everyone, drug users and seriously ill people look to die peacefully. Why couldn't he suggest something shitty, like darvocets?
 
Thanks everyone - and sorry about the confusion. I was looking for equivalences - not the MIDAS touch to turn benzos into barbs.
