I have been prescribed xanax 2mg a day for 3 1/2 yrs, plus have had a opiate addiction for 4 yrs, in the coming days running out of both. I am just wondering what I am looking forward to. If anyone has experience with dealing with both withdrawals and what could help me out.

side note:also smoke weed, take adderal as prescribed, and mdma daily as-well. not as worried about those tho,.

God almighty. Opiate and benzo withdrawal together cannot be fun. I guess it will depend on your habit on how bad things will be. You xanax dose isnt that high, so maybe it wont be too bad, but I never went through benzo WD so Im not too sure, but Ive heard many say its worse than Opiate WD which makes it very scary to me. I dont know your opiate habit, but it can be hell, plain and simple, you may not want to live anymore, thats how bad it is, but every daily user probably goes through it at least once and sometimes many more times before learning their lesson. Ive only gone through very short withdrawal, 24-36 hours, but on a huge opiate tolerance, and it was brutal. Dry heaving, muscles aching like I never experienced before and just the most uncomfortable a human can probably feel.

I always say nobody should ever have to go through severe withdrawal, I really wished there was something you could come up with to avoid it.

Damn, you take Mdma daily?if and when you stop that you'll probably experience some sort of rebound depression and feel weird.but you will most likely need to seek medical help for the Benzo opiate addictions.perhaps suboxone/methadone treatment along with a diazepam taper.I took xanax everyday along with temazepam in very large doses for about 3 weeks and experienced mild discomfort upon stopping.so I imagine you will have some decent withdrawals due to how long you've been on them.also, what's your opiate of choice?what kind of doses keep you well?do you IV,snort or eat your opiates?these details Will help you determine if sub or mmt are right for you.

MDMa will not do you any good, when quitting opiates.
You'll only feel bad when taking it during withdrawl.

I say taper to the lowest comfortable dosage on both benzo's and opiates, then get the monkey off your back.
After that deal with the benzo's...

Do you still feel anything different with daily use of MDMa?

Another thing about benzo wd is the possibility of seizures, which makes it very dangerous.I'm not sure if your habit is large enough for seizures so someone with more benzo experience then I have will probably give you more info.

2 mg a day is large enough for seizures, although not a huge risk. do not cold tureky off benzos. taper slowly (10% reduction every week is reasonable). withdrawal is a slow process from benzos and often takes several years.

I'd be very scared about going off of both of these medications without medical supervision. 2mg of alprazolam a day to cold turkey is a large jump, add onto that the stress of opioid withdrawal and you're at risk for grand mal seizures and other complications. Any chance you could check into some kind of detox or go to an ER or something?

The mdma really don't work. been doing almost a gram steady for 3 months, but as for the opiates like a playground compared to shooting dope.
I gave up and got more xanax that shit is a bitch, Black out panic attacks.

i don't know what the doses are but you've got every major recreational class of drugs represented in your daily regimen

abruptly ceasing all of these (which is what'd happen if you go to in-patient besides a benzo taper) at once would cause some pretty heavy depression among other things imo. be prepared to not be functional at all. like laying in bed 24/7

dose changes should happen slowly. if you're running out i assume it's a script that gets refilled, count the seconds till refill time and hope you learn the lesson, i've run out early too

things that help with benzo and opie w/d are... loperamide (immodium) for gastrointestinal issues, pepto or whatever for nausea, pot for nausea and depression and pain, tylenol for pain, and there is more info you should know, do a search on both withdrawals

all of those apply to both opiate and benzo w/d. you're not gonna have fun

I can always tolerate the psychical but mental I always get dragged back been trying to kick this for yrs
