Benzo Drug Testing Question

I'll make this simple and quick.
Sunday night I took 2 milligrams of Klonopin to help me get to sleep. Monday I find out that I have a drug test on Friday.
Do you think the benzos will be detected? Failing for a weed is a given. But since thats the ONLY dose of any Benzo I've taken in 6 months.
This sucks.

What are you being tested for? Lately I've heard of more people getting tested for benzos but I don't think it is too common. Klonopin does have a fairly long half life so it isn't out of the question that you'd fail the test. I've seen data that says you can test positive for benzos a month after taking them but I've never actually heard any first hand reports. Has anyone here actually tested positive before?

I work at a lab that preforms tons of drug tests for places throughout the country. I'd say easily that at least 1/3rd of all the drug tests we prefrom include benzos. Usually you'll see one specific drug like coke or amphetamine or opiates being tested for with "benzo" after it.
As for having a few days after a small dose of Klonopin, I think you should have no problems passing.

You will have no problems... a full week is enough time to get 2mg of Klonopin out of you system..
Benzos are a popular drug to test for pre-employment, so there is a good chance you WILL be tested for it..

call your doctor up, tell him you're flying somewhere and you're really, really, nervous about it... chances are you might get a couple .25 xanax footballs. say that you don't want a sleeping pill, "just something that might help me with my anxiety, my mom has the same problem as me with flying, especially right under todays circumstances, and her doctor gave her something called al---praz--o--lam (act like you're reading it off of "her" bottle and can't prenounce the word) my mom said it really, really, helped her"...
and there's your excuse for having a benzo in your system, "it was my doctor's orders."

I wouldn't ask for Xanax by name, maybe hint for something like Ativan or Klonopin - especially if you're young .. but the story about flying is always the best if you want 2-5 pills .. A test to determine the specific benzo taken would cost a good deal more then the generic test, and I don't imagine one would be ordered - I may be wrong - SC might be able to fill us in on the specifics .. I know a GC/MS test would tell, but I didn't think they ran full diags (given the cost)..
But you are giving yourself more then a week to clean yer system out, and given that the amount you took, you wont have a problem passing the test..

Thanks for all the replies. Im still nervous so I've been munching down Vitamin C, Multivitamins, B6 and drinking a ton of water and juice. I really hope I test negative for the benzos... im not worried about the weed.
I know I can always count on OD for help. You guys rock the house.

I haven't seen anything to indicate testing for specific benzos. I see the paper work that goes along with the tests, but I don't actually work in the toxicology section of the lab (I don't think I'd last long with easy access to cocaine/other drugs and random testing). I'm sure it's possible someone could special order a test for a specific benzo, it's done for various prescription opiates.. but again, I've never seen it for benzos. The only reason I could imagine anyone would even want to know the specific type would be in an autopsy case where they might be trying to figure out the exact drug to help determine a source to solve a murder or something like they do on major network prime time tv crime shows.
