Benzo degradation

Someone told me that benzos were susceptible to molecular breakdown if exposed to heat. If so, would it be a good idea to keep my supply of 80 mg of Xanax (yum) in the fridge??

Do you mean room temp???If that's the case you don't have to worry about it breaking down.
Putting in the fridge wont make any difference

Most pharmaceutical recommendations are for storage betwen 15-30 degreec Celsius, definetly under 40C. So unless you live somewhere really hot and sunny, or you expose your pills to direct sunlight you are not likely to run into any problems.
