Benzo Combo, Strange Hangover?

I realise there's a million benzo threads so apologies for starting another, but I need a specific answer.

Last night I dosed 60mg of diazepam and 15mg of nitrazepam, and today I had all sorts of strange hangover feelings. I have a high benzo tolerance (hence the dosage), and I'm well aware of valiums frustratingly long half life, but I've never felt like this the day after a benzo bash.

All day I've been lethargic, slurring my speech, losing track of time, and having weird split second anxiety attacks that last no more than a few seconds.
I'm not a constant user of benzos, I try and keep my use spaced out to avoid "addiction", but I do have a high tolerance to benzos, and I have dosed up to 100mg of diazepam before with no such hangover symptoms.

Could it be the combination of diazepam and nitrazepam?
Any thoughts would be appreciated guys!

I can only say one thing, stop using benzos like that. There aren't many old school junkies on here, but if they were, they'd tell you to stop it. High dose benzo usage is a one-way trip to hell. The problem with benzos is one doesn't really notice when things are worsening - the brain just deteriorates over time. These drugs do give you lasting damage unlike let's say, morphine.

imo they are not worth the risks of abuse. be careful with benzos dude!

it might be worth your time to do a bl search and do some reading. there is heaps of opinions and great advice if you just take the time to search it out.

hope you feel better soon

The panic attacks sound like a paradoxical reaction, which I believe can be related to having a high benzo tolerance, I think having a break and/or tapering down your use sounds like a good idea, especially if you're concerned about this.
Benzodiazepine abuse can have really serious longterm consequences - moreso than a lot of other drugs.

You may have a high tolerance but that doesn't mean the benzos are not hurting you. I went through a crazy xanax period and felt like a zombie some mornings when I woke up. Combined with the amount of alcohol I drank, I could have died easily.
Lost track of days, forgotten conversations and events. Weeks afterward not remembering things.
I wouldn't use the nitrazapam together with diazapam. Maybe slow down a bit on these. Your mind will be grateful later.

Thanks for all the replies guys, appreciate the advice. The weird after affects do concern me a fair bit, I've been thinking about tapering off the benzos for a while, think its time I took the plunge! Any advice? Haha

Take it slow...seek medical advice if you are concerned about possible withdrawals.
If you're not physically addicted, a break might be all you need, but I think benzo tolerance can last for while.
I don't have much personal experience with this one, but plenty of other bluelighters do.
