i have used over 250 mg of etizolam since the end of april
unfortunately i had a delayed check and don't have anymore to continue a taper

i have no more to take today, i am shaky, tense, general flu feeling..

advice please, i have vitamins and phenibut but don't think this is going to get me through..
was thinking about hospital but refuse to tell the whole scenario, i am anxious in general so a lot of this is in my head..

Try to relax with deep breathing and absolutely go to the hospital if physical symptoms get worse. You can't get any other benzos?

If you have a way of checking your blood pressure then definitely do that and go to the hospital if it gets too high, or if your other symptoms worsen.

benzo ct

hi i posted a previous topic www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/684129-benzo-cold-turkey
if this can be added i would appreciate it.

looks like i didn't receive my package, will not until monday

what should i be looking for, to know if i should take myself in..
i've had a persisting headache, dry mouth, and stiffness in arms and neck.
still flu like feeling in general.. slight confusion and discomfort.

i have no way of monitoring my blood pressure at home, i had my first meal an hour ago,
along with valerian root, theanine, lysine, and 1.5g of phenibut.. will i be able to at least horde off seizures with this?

i really just need to make it till monday now.. appreciate the input. really would like to know what to look for, before it happens.. (seizure)
trying to get at least 1mg xanax..

How about your muscles - are you experiencing twitches, spasms or tremors at all? You've not been using them for more than a few months and so it's perhaps best to stay off them: you're doing very well so far, having managed for this long, but if you're not careful it could easily lead to other addictions. Alcohol is what I'd recommend as being most readily available and common; just have a small drink, just one or two bottles of beer or a single shot, and it should ease your symptoms.

You'll experience rebound anxiety. It's worse than before and may continue to get worse, but not for long: it should get better each and every day until you're back to baseline. Don't make the mistake of thinking that the withdrawal is over if your symptoms disappear after just a few days, too - it sometimes happens and it's welcome respite from the pain, but they return before long.

If you start to get very unpleasant twitches, aside from the typical sweating, panic and anxiety; if you hallucinate and cannot sleep for more than a couple of days, consider calling the hospital or speaking to a doctor. They'll be able to recommend a recovery programme for you and you'll be given a simple taper. Diazepam is often used because it's easily dosed and comes in very small tablets; reductions of 2mg per week or two are typical. It will be far more comfortable if you speak to a doctor. Doing this alone, especially if you're not interested in getting off the drugs, will be very difficult.

What are you currently taking? I get that you're using it every day along with Phenibut, but what else are you taking and is it self-medication or for some sort of medical issue you're suffering from without informing your doctor? Are you unable to get a proper prescription so that a doctor could watch and make sure you're alright being given these drugs?

Sorry for all of the questions, but benzodiazepines are absolutely not something anyone ought to mess with, even if you're suffering from panic attacks. They're far more trouble than they are worth, seriously. I wish you the best of luck. Take care of yourself!

Yeah benzos are given for alcohol withdrawal so why not the other way around? They both act on gaba.

I tried that once, didn't think I could stomach scotch (I only drink beer) but it did help the shakes, vertigo and cold sweats a bit.
Trouble is the next day it came worse, with gastrointestinal symptoms that were horrific. Get yourself to hospital while you can.

They don't work the same way. Benzodiazepines increase the seizure threshold which is why it is used for alcohol withdrawal. Alcohol lowers the seizure threshold.

Now, if you drink alcohol during Benzodiazepine withdrawals your brain is in a state of shock and at a high risk of seizures because of the reverse effects of the anti-convulsant properties of Benzodiazepines. If you add alcohol into the mix, yes, it will ease the withdrawals, but you're just putting yourself at an extreme risk of having a seizure and/or dying.

Yeah I'd say this is pretty sound advice. I wouldn't ever recommend alcohol during withdrawal.

2-3 grams of Valerian capsules every 6 hours takes away the worst aside from some discomfort and irriability (some might need more). Also, 1.5-2 grams Magnesium is recommended 3-4 times a day, but try finding one without a laxative in. Definitely helps keep away the worst symptomps like high blood pressure, heart-racing, seizures and is good for the nervous system overall.

These will take the worst sting out of it, though you won't feel 100%, but it can save you from a life-threatening/psychotic situation and a visit to the hospital.

Also, L-theanine, may be the strongest. Is supposed to mimic benzos quite well. I know this is a very effective combination when combined in high enough doses. It can cut the withdrawal in half, or if you take it before it starts it may never really get started.

Hops can be used instead of Valerian as well as it's also very sedative.

The key is to get the dosage and timing right, and preferably before the withdrawal really begins, or you'll have to go through the whole process of re-adjusting or normalising your body again.

Interesting about the alcohol. I was only trying to help the op but it looks like I should be more informed before offering suggestions. Lesson well learned.

L-Theanine mimics benzodiazepines? I thought it had a dopamine affinity, not GABA affinity. Huh, just looked it up. It has affinity to both GABA and dopamine. Interesting.

There's too many people that think just because benzodiazepines and alcohol work in a very similar fashion that using alcohol as a benzodiazepine withdrawal cure/substitute is the smartest thing to do. Medical experts recommend no alcohol consumption at all during withdrawals. It lowers the seizure threshold which is already affected at high levels by your withdrawals.
