Got a job at sonic and then quickly met two managers who moved here for the grand opening. I made friends with them fast. After awhile the guy was paranoid of me and it made his girlfriend and I realize we had feelings for each other. They broke up he moved back to oklahoma and we are together still this day. Her name is Kristen for reference. We got an apartment and after a month I met a neighbor although we no longer live there I drive 5 hours monthly to take him to the pharmacy and in return I get 40 mg free xanax in footballs and 300 mg hydrocodone in Norco 10s for free. I go get them in two days. One question I do have is why do pills effect me differently than others. I get these pills once a month and they last 3 days. To start getting high when I first get them I take 30-50 mg hydrocodone and 6mg xanax then over the next 8 hours I take another 5-12mg xanax withought blacking out but being noticeably barred. I just don't understand how I can take above 20mg xanax and still function and safely drive around town. Is this normal? Shouldn't there be repercussions?

Now for medical background. I have GAD and a seizure disorder but my doctor says they are pseudoseizures caused by anxiety. I have had two seizure. I am also diagnosed with high blood pressure and my resting bp is 158/130.

Prescriptions as follow
8-.5 Mg ativan monthly
18 capacet monthly
Linsopril daily
Metoplerol* 2x daily
Depicot 3x daily- I haven't taken it
Imitrex- as needed for cluster headaches, haven't taken
Questions--
1. Does a xanax tolerance stay for a month.
2. Would 12-25mg xanax with hydrocodone be enough to overdose a normal person.
3. What side effects could come from continues abuse like this.
4. How bad to my body is it that I take them in such a short time period.

0. Don't ever take drugs and drive, you are endangering yourself and for the most part other people !
1. Yes, tolerance can stay for a month, when abused in high dose, like you do, but I don't know if 2 days of insane abuse are enough for building a high tolerance.
3. Addiction, withdrawal and probably problems with your memory, mostly short term memory
4. I don't know how bad, but it surely is not the best you can do for your body
Why are you taking such an insane amount in such a short time ? Are there any more good effects when going over like 5mg ?
Benzos tend to fuck you up, without you knowing

I don't blackout so there is an added bonus to taking more. I have extreme anxiety and the more I take the more alive I feel. They make me active. I want to get out in social situations and live.

I can totally relate to that. I suffer from pretty bad anxiety myself, but let me tell you, benzos are not the long term solution to this problem. They are good for stopping a panic attack, but eventually you become addicted and it makes everything worse. I suggest you find a psychologist, as mine did help me quite a bit

I am going to a psychiatrist on the 13th. How long does it take for a psychiatrist to drug test. My doctor hasn't yet and he knows I smoke at least. In my opinion I lack a solution. I have social anxiety and something like benzos are the only time I feel open or normal socially. I do have negative side effects though. My billireuben was 4x too high or so but I sum that up to apap. This time I get my footballs I was thinking about doing 6mg xanax a day/week and 20mg hydrocodone daily/week. How long does it take to get addicted . how early does it start and what are the signs?

There are other things that can help with social anxiety, maybe an antidepressant might help you, or cognitive behavior therapy.
Well 6mg xanax a day is a pretty high dose, so dependence might kick in quiet fast. It's hard to tell, because everyone is different. Try taking less, what's the minimum dosage that will give you relief ? Maybe switch to diazepam, because the half life is around 20-100 hours, so you can take just one dose per day
