Benadryl to potintiate oxycodone IV

So, SWIM is pretty used to doing boy, and SWIM is about to have a roxy 30mg to IV. Will an antihistamine such as benadryl potentate my opiate rush? Or what about orally ingesting Promethazine before the shot?

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciate.
