Benadryl and 2C-E dangerous?

Hey everyone, I am dosing 20mg of 2C-E tonight with two of my trusted friends. This is my third time with this incredible chemical. I am very sensitive to the body load on this RC, and have read from multiple bluelighters that Benadryl can relieve this intense body load. Even though they say they did it, I am still very paranoid when it comes to combinations. I have had the dreaded Serotonin Syndrome, and NEVER want to repeat that horror. I know that Benadryl is known to have some serotonin activity, but to what extent? I also know that 2C-E is not an SSRI, and acts on the 5HTP serotonin instead. Even with this knowledge, my combination paranoia won't let me take the Benadryl without consulting my fellow psychonauts. So if anyone has done this, please tell what effects the Benadryl adds, or subtracts. Is it safe as far as interaction between the two go? Does it really help the body load? Does it just relieve the nausea, or the extreme muscle tension as well? I know not everyone gets this body load, but it is intense when you are one of the people that do. Its like really uncomfortable MDMA. My muscles get so tense that I feel like I am made out of plastic. I love this Chem and would love to continue exploring what it has to offer, but if this is a cure for the horrendous load, then I would be very pleased. :)

I've done it multiple times and so have lots of others. 25mg Benedryl (std dose) 30 minutes before 20mg 2C-E makes for a very smooth non-body-load trip. I thought it even made the visuals a little stronger, perhaps due in some way to the Benedryl's serotonin effects (but just a guess)... there did not seem to be any "serotonin syndrome," the result was extremely pleasant, very lsd-like with strong tracers, very long lived color-shifting shape-morphing after images, fractal thought sequences (thoughts branching from thoughts branching from thoughts etc that eventually "unwound" in reverse order) that felt like hours but lasted only several minutes (you can get alot of thinking done on those in a short timeframe... very amazing and cool IMO), other open and closed eye visuals, an ecstatic mindset, a euphoric "flying" body feel, but no nausea or uncomfortable weird aches (like I got on 2C-E without the benedryl), great erotic results if thats what you decide to explore, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

However, some get only a partial assistance, not the completely beneficent effect I did, perhaps a timing thing? Or maybe some individual biochem thing. Anyway, I would definitely advise waiting a full 30 mins for the B to take effect fully before dosing the 2CE.

Thanks for your report! I am going to try it tonight and come back here with my results (to add to the data of course XD ). I doubt the Benadryl will put me to sleep, because 2C-E has a wicked stimulant effect on me! More so than a moderate dose of amphetamines. Im hoping it just removes the insanely tense muscles I get on "Magic" (that's my name for it) :D Going to be an epic night for sure! Thanks again for the confirmation report.
 
Happy to help (note also minor edits to above post, listed under "Reason" in edit log at end). You are absolutely right, the stimulant effect of the 2CE eradicates the sleep-inducing effect of the benedryl (an effect of benedryl which while helpful for sleep is often short-lived anyway).
 
i am able to vouch for this being a lot stronger than just 2ce. as we speak the infinite is tearing at my very being ego death every few minutes.. this adds a very deep, oceanic,delirious aspect to the trip.
 
Mix research chemicals with other substances converts the experience, and risks, into something very serious. There is no long history about the use of this compounds. Mixing with other substances can lead into unexpected results, side effects and long-term consequences.

Did 20 mg of 2c-e 2 weeks ago and I'm looking forward to dosing again this friday. The benadryle does help a lot. I still had a nausea feel in my gut but never had the urge to throw up. I had the tingly body wave feel but none of the annoying having body load. Laid back, put my head phones in, and let my mind drift away. Pretty fucking awesome. I was having visions of the artist lyrics of the songs when my eyes were closed. I still keep wondering if I was dreaming or not? I was pretty fucking tired that night.
