Being illegal now, where do all the crackies come from?

I have been wondering this for some time, since Victoria outlawed freebase pipes where do people keep getting them from?

Do individuals import them? Are there places which still sell them?

It's strange how they're still going around even though they're not legal.

I advise you to go and have a read of legal status of free-base pipes in a simple Google Australia search.

But most people probably would of bought a large supply of them, before they were outlawed, by the sigh, Rudd government.
 
this will most likely get closed for sourcing, but i challenge: isn't finding out how to smoke speed safely and not off foil harm reduction?

just ask at bong shops. they wont have them on display and will tell you to get lost if you look real straight.
i spoke to an employee of a shop the other week, and since they passed the laws they were never checked once (except for the week before.) you'd think they'd go checking the places that sells the things they just made illegal, but never did.
also they have zero idea what a crack pipe is. the definition is down the letter a sweet puff pipe, take the glass marble off, or make the bowl oval instead of round, and it isn't a crackie anymore. they really have no clue, a lot of times they just put a little glass funnel into the top and then it looks like a 'weed pipe.'

but in the end of the day anyway, drugs are illegal too. and they're still around!
 
i've also seen crackie bongs on display at many shops, dont think they're technically classed as illegal because of the water either

you can always turn a lightbulb into a pipe , just do it a few times and its really easy , just wash it out before use and make sure there is no little bits of glass
 
probably legal in canberra as is the case with almost anything.

politicians smoke crack with nothing but the best equipment.
 
If anyone is going to do the lightbulb method after reading this make sure you don't use a frosted globe.
 
And of course they can be mailed in from overseas in bulk and distributed, people break pipes all the time so I'm sure any entrepreneurial dealer could make some easy cash on the side selling them to his customers.
 
Asian/Indian tobacconists, corner delis, milk bars, you know how some of them have bong displays, well just wait til other customers leave and ask for a glass pipe :) I'm sure not all of them sell 'em but can't hurt to ask, and if you do find a place, as I have found a few, keep it to yourself!! The other route is to find someone who imports them who happens to be on the drug scene that you frequent, just ask around. And yep it is safer than smoking off foil which will probably give you a throat infection.

Not to mention how much of a pain it is smoking off foil. Trying to hold the foil, the lighter and the tube all at once, I always lose a bunch of smoke :p Crackie is much easier. Lightbulbs are great too, since they hold the smoke in.
 
Ahhh good old sweet puff never too hard to find ;)

You would think those dodgy little stalls at your local market would still have a few boxes put away, I've notice alot of old stock starting to return to most tobacconist aswell.

Oh yeah another thing before the thread gets closed. Seems it almost christmas might be time to go buy one of those cheap 12 packs of glass christmas ball, be careful though some of them can be really thin ;)
