Being clean with a Little help

Captain H, that is some real advice right there, some that I can actually use. Thank you so much, I had a feeling just doing these things may lead to better, but having you tell me so feels a lot better. I just get worried that it'll go no where sometimes, like I keep trying to get back into art, but it feels like i'll never love it again. I never had anyone tell me yet that doing things just to do them will actually work. I really appreciate it.

Zach, thanks again :] As always, very helpful! I am disappointed because I cannot talk on my phone for a while till I have things fixed, but I have a lot to talk about with you, can we chat some where else? do you have a facebook?

Crimsonjunk, thank you for your advice, I think im gonna look around for someone to talk to that my insurance will at least co-pay. For the past 11 months I kept thinking i'll be okay with out it but now I am starting to feel like (and hear about) that it would help me a lot.

I would suggest hobbies and activities you enjoy, exercise, and staying away from antidepressants, unless you have been on one which worked for you in the past. <3

This is the answer you were looking for. Exercise usually isn't enjoyable when you get into it because you've been rinsing the hard drugs/booze for too long. However, after each workout you do feel better, and better. And then eventually working out becomes a joy. You begin to take some pride in your fitness and appearance. Your confidence returns and as does your happiness through the increased social contact and better bonding of relationships.

Crimsonjunk is correct too things became much easier for me when I found the correct specialist doctor.
