Venting Being chubby

I was at the nude beach recently with my friend (I'm a gay male she's a hetero woman). We were of course checking out lots of guys. There were so many guys with gym bodies walking around, just strutting. Then there was this one guy, not super physically fit, but was giving a physical activity demonstration to a woman. He was teaching her how to stretch and do back flips. I did not find this man physically attractive but my friend was gaga. After about an hour, there was a group of women around this man. He was teaching them how to use found-objects at the beach to do workouts, like turning over logs length-wise over and over down the length of the beach. The women around him were attractive! He had gathered an audience.

I just turned to my friend and asked her why the hell this guy was getting so many chicks, and she said, "He's capable and he's teaching them something, he's communicating well, and he's engaging with them. it makes him so sexy."

So all these posers walking around showing off their gym bodies were useless compared to this average-yet-strong guy who was giving demonstrations and teaching skills. I thought the whole scene was interesting!

Yet the posers had worked to achieve capable bodies worth displaying while the cheesy guy just pushed some low-hanging emotional buttons like a salesman. And none of them procreated.

Who needs to be shown that you can flip a log? It's about the cheese, not the log. What is the goal of flipping the log? To achieve capable bodies worth displaying.

This anecdote illustrates the importance of not looking to women for behavioral guidance.

Many people hate to age, that whole “Never ask a woman her age” trip, Botox/Plastics, etc. No judgement from me on that, everyone is the Captain of their own ship. I, myself, love it (aside from body aches/pain, Peri/Menopausal symptoms, intolerance of willful ignorance, etc). One aspect I love most in my experience, is the complete loss of all bullshit insecurities and priorities. Physical appearance means zilch to me now, my own or anybody else’s. (Obvs healthy living is optimal for all, and beauty is always appreciated and enjoyed.) I simply don’t care about physical flaws, imperfections, blemishes, balding, cellulite, non-pert breasts, love handles, belly fat. The list is endless, and you get my point. The priority shift is gold, imo. I wish everyone could feel this way always. The world would be so different and improved. ✌️🩷

This is a lovely sentiment and I wish everyone felt like you! Unfortunately, loads of men are very judgmental about a woman and her looks/age. Some even say not to date a woman after she turns 30! My ex husband is like that, his current gf is 21. He is 47.
 
If she calls you out for being fat. I would just say, that just means you don't get to ride the Buddha Belly.

In all seriousness, being fat never stopped me from being good with women. I got skinny for awhile, and that was overkill for picking up women. They were afraid to get with me because I was too good looking. So sometimes you gotta Demonstrate Lower Value DLV to make her comfortable enough to get with you.
Not saying I have a g/f now, but I will only have sex now to procreate. I don't want the headaches of a jealous ex girlfriend or her jealous ex bf that doesn't like you. Fucks for keeps.

And the point obviously went right over your head. It wasn't about the log it was about how he used it to gateway into communication with a group of women.

So are loads of women. Try being a short bloke, that's like being a fat chick, ie dating death for most. Any hook-up site you care to check out, the girls won't even consider anyone less than 6 foot, it's pretty blatant in the profiles. And I get it, taller just looks better. Still annoying. (I reckon I'm the wrong ethnicity. I'd be an ok average if I was say Mexican or Japanese. As a German I'm practically a midget.)

As far as the age thing goes, if you're honest wouldn't you rather bang a hot young stud with a perfect beach body and erections on demand, than come clapped-out model with middle-aged spread and a sagging arse? ..
I reckon as we get older we mostly just settle for equally unattractive people our own age because we can't land the pretty things anymore. (At least not without looking like a pervert.) Call me cynical.

Evolutionary joke i guess. If mr log got laid x10 and became the new Gengis Khan, it would've been a bit more difficult to argue against.

Yeah the log thing is a thing but it's a more shallow thing than the supposedly shallow thing. Did you understand my point? I had no trouble understanding yours.

Being somewhat fit is way more important than that kind of skills imo.

Truth! Egoism and Narcissism are an unsavory combination to say the least. 🗣️ “Hey Evolution! No lollygagging eraticating this one, eh? It’s beyond a giant fail!”

And that great of an age gap when the younger person is barely out of childhood has always reeked of Chomoesque overtones, imo. Creepy and gag-worthy.
