the things i do behind the scenes:
little things to please you,
because i need you...
i've stopped eating.
this body in its current state
is not worthy of what you can give.
Two days and no sleep,
because I can't stop thinking.
Mostly about you,
worries im not good enough,
fears you'll turn the other way.
I've gotten sick over you,
overwhelming emotions creeping over me,
my nerves are fried,
and my stomach hurts.
i want to be the one for you
like the one you are to me
everything--
i want to give you all i have
i want you to taste the burning desire
red from my lips
and bound to yours
an overwhelming shock wave
filled with intensity and love
a cool hand across your chest
and a warm salty tear down my cheek
to show you this is right
take me in your arms and assure me
assure me i'm ok
wipe my tears and embrace me
i'm only beautiful when im in your arms
