Just wanted to share a poem I wrote this evening, hope you like it. never shared anything at all before in terms of my writings.
feel free to make suggestions or comments.
So we all know for sure that we know two things for certain,
Paying taxes and when they lower the final curatin.
But I wonder what You'll do before you time here is done?
Will you allow yourself to dream, grow wings, go fly, go run.
ask yourself this, is every part of your being,
experiencing fully what it is to be living?
to feel the air of the atmosphere on your skin,
to hear the music of the universe deep within.
do you forget to listen to yourself and push away the real you inside?
its no wonder we feel frustrated, desperate,hopeless, like some one has died.
Feel like someone has died......
well nearly,
its you,
don't you see?
your restraining yourself,
teathering your dreams to anchors
and hiding your self worth up on an out of reach shelf.
To connect with your own soul, your own precious heart,
oh it sounds so cliche but it's the only place we can start.
You have the power to make a change
hell I know thats scary, But you can take the reins
life gets turbulent, but your responses you control,
Raise up your dreams from their resting place,
pull off the rusted chain,
climb up that ladder and grab hold of your self worth,
And vow to never keep it out of reach again.
You have more potential and worth than you could ever know
be open, be courageous, let your dreams flow
But don't just dream for the sake of relaxation,
feel the reaction,
move into action
its takes hard work but you are worth it,
belive, have hope, you deserve it.
Its your life to live,
it's your life
its yours
live it, love it, experience it all
as one day we know the curtain will fall.
