I was prescribed Vyvanse a few days ago and already went thru close to half the bottle . Seeing new psyc doc, primary problems are anxiety and lack of focus however this medication has seemed to enhance the effect and the crash is worse than adderall even though the psyc doc said it wouldn't be. Been taking Prozac, another pre workout stimulant called ds craze.
My plan to get off is too tell the doctor at next appointment this stuff making me very jittery, hyper, obsessed about stuff that hasn't been problem for years like an eating disorder resurfacing and get a different anti depressant such as wellbrutin.
I was on Adderall but got cut off by that doctor after he found out I lied about losing a prescription and not filling it so in January I was going thru at least 4-6 20 mg tabs a day

Well dude if you were taking the amount your doctor said, you wouldn't be "jittery, hyper, obsessed" and wouldn't have a crash. It's not the medication's fault.

Switching your prescriptions isn't the answer. Medications can be a useful tool but are not a magic cure for life's problems. Given the fact that you are abusing your pills plus taking other meds, it's not surprising you're having a negative reaction. You may be better off not using stimulants of any sort since you won't take them as directed.

^^ This

I can't be in possession of either Benzos or stimulants so wouldn't consider agreeing to a prescription, I've turned down a Diaz script twice from my doc, stms are are less available in the UK.

I've always tried very hard to keep prescribed drugs and 'recreational' drugs separate. In the UK this seems easier since getting prescribed abusable drugs is much more difficult than in many other countries, certainly the US.

In most cases it would be better not taking the medication at all than abusing the shit of the stuff. I've had this conversation with my doc and told him straight that if I wanted recreational drugs I'd buy this else where, not waste my time and his getting a script.

Take the prescribed drugs as prescribed then if you have problems with them you can discuss the issues honestly with your Doctor.

Apologies if that all sounds like a bit of a sermon ( I'm an atheist BTW) :D

if you are abusing adderall vyvanse and pre-workout stims = then you are going to have screwed up health.

Adding more prescriptions to the mix while you are in this state is going to make it difficult to address your natural problems.

this is very good advice ->
