I know that sounds like typical junkie talk but I had a realization this week about what I want from life. One is a career and the other is a kid. I don't want to get married though. I looked into adoption and it seems right for me. There are even a few kids that would do best if they were raised by a single guy like me. Anyways, if presented with the opportunity to further my career and/or become a dad, I could and would stop my drug use and it would be no problem. I guess that means I am not addicted.
 
There is no HR value in this thread and you never asked a question so I'm closing this.

All I will say is don't say that you can do something until you actually do it. A lot of people say that they can stop using if they wanted. Doing so is a whole different story.
