Beautiful First-Time Ecstasy Story

Really liked the point where he described like he opened himself and how he interacted with strangers. Reminded me of when I discovered the 'club scene' some years ago (doing amphetamine, not mdma, but it also had/has a remarkable social component for me). At this point I was rather 'shy' and kind of an introvert + lacking of self confidence, but suddenly I talked to strangers in a way I never did before. I transported this 'social aspect' of the drug to everyday life somehow and became a lot more self confident.

Besides this, awesome story. Really looking forward to experience MDMA in a party environment in 2 weeks.

I have unnaproved pending the provision of a link so its not copy pasted without acknowledgement.

The thread has now been reopened thanks to the OP supplying a link and I have removed the actual text and simply added a link.

His story is beautiful, thank you inCircles...I'm guessing by now you've read Confessions of a Middle Aged Ecstacy Eater? It's probably been posted here a million times...sometimes I read it just because the man's story is so amazing, and articulately written.

Thank you for that, truly captivating and simply wonderful piece of text. I just bookmarked it for future multiple reads (:

Awww I'm happy I shared that then- I love that so many people got to read that in The Guardian. When someone so "unconvential" enjoys E- someone our parents can relate to, it warms my heart. Maybe theres a few less judgemental middle-aged people out there now who have given MDMA a try because of it (and another try, and another try etc. LOL!) =)

Agreed. But anyways, I'm halfway through my 3 month break and this report had me craving a roll :( Awesome story though!

I feel you Mr. Wobble. I am 2/3's through my three month break and I'm craving more than ever. It brought me back to my first rave at Love Fest. Can't wait for this years!

Yah.. I got half way through and I was experiencing my own memories of such a strong emotion and it got me craving a roll myself. I can only wish to feel like that just one more time. Probably not gonna happen, eh? lol

You're welcome amazed! His articulate transforming story is my favorite "trip report"....it's so much more than that though, whenever I can I have my non-roller friends read it to understand what MDMA is capable of

I would really like to forward the link to a few of my friends...
I would love to share my story with them, But not sure how they would react. I really hate that. And to be honest that is why i am Here! Cause the folks around me , well, i can't tell them... But it was just magical...And Helpful in my life... And i have a friend that is going to a marriage counsler and having Hell with her Hubby... Kinda were me and my hubby were 2 months ago... I thought the goodness would wear off but it hasn't ... More respect and love and we can relate so much better and Trust.
I just wish sooooo bad i could give that feeling to my best friend and her hubby...
But i don't even know how to tell her....
any sugestions?<3

"Hey, take this pill. It'll fix everything" (j/k)

I'd ease into the situation. It will be hard to overcome the preconceptions with ecstasy (in school they taught us it was made by mixing chemicals from under your sink together and was highly poisonous -- nothing CLOSE to the truth), but a story like that can help along with some sources about the negative effects of MDMA. As much as you like it, there IS a bad side to MDMA and that is just as important to know about as the positive.

Cool link, it underlines the reason why I love MDMA. :) Natural and friendly feel good vibes and emotional closeness with everyone around you. Hell, they should start taking MDMA in churches and stuff. Or maybe they should candyflip, I bet they'll all unite into one to touch the god within them. :D

Hello yeah speed has a strong social component. In the right amount speed can have a really positive effect on social interaction. That's pretty good that you where able to transfer the effects of speed into everyday life. I was able to do that with MDMA (to some degree), but speed was always a "when on it" type thing.

I'd say ED is pretty balanced with regards to this aspect. Are people biased? Yes! But what do you expect, the people who come hear love MDMA. Still you'll never find people promting MDMA as a solution to everything or condoning harmful behavior.

Stumbled upon this little gem today and thought I'd share. Hopefully not everyone has read it.

These are amazing and inspiring stories, Thank You,
especially for me because I have only rolled once, but it was one of the best experiences
Now I can't wait for the future, going to europe this summer for a month Ibeza, Paris, Amsterdam... What do you think the limit is for rolling in a month, I really want to experience the party scene and meet tons of new people

thanks again

It's really best to wait a month- theres a lot of research out there that supports the theory that it takes a full month to allow for everything to be "in tact" again. I have abused E (as I've said in many posts)- I did it every weekend almost for months on end. Many people do this, and crash later, or notice a "loss of magic" that seems sometimes permanent. MDMA simply does not affect me the same way anymore. Will you be able to get away with rolling 2-3 times in that month? Probably. Maybe not. Doesn't mean you should, but if you do, give yourself monthssss off after that. I'd probably save the rolling for the most amazing and "roll" friendly event you'll be at.
