I'm looking for some very basic chemistry websites mostly related to drugs and synthesis of drugs. Any help? :)

We can't help you with synthesis, but there is lots out there.

Check out Erowid, it has lots of good articles on drugs. In each vault for each substance there should be links to research and journal articles and the like.

Also, if you are considering synthesis, I suggest you get as good a chemistry education as you can before attempting it. But synth discussion is against BL rules, so no more advice for you alas.

If you don't even know the basics of chemistry, you are putting yourself at extreme risk by attempting any syntheses.
These kinds of things require years of Org/Bio chem experience, working with volatile/caustic/toxic/corrosive chemicals, and access to sophisticated laboratory and analytical equipment.

Who said I wanted to attempt synthesis? :P

I am asking just for personal knowledge basically. I am more interested in other things such as molecular structure and such relating to effects etc.

Thanks though, I'll check out erowid and wikipedia.

I never said you wanted to, but you asked specifically about sources of info regarding drug synth, and you're clearly not ready for something like that.

Go buy a used Chem 101 textbook and start from there. You don't need erowid/wiki

...and such relating to effects etc
Again, Pharmacology 101 textbooks are a good starting point.

Related fields of study :
Biochemistry
Organic Chemistry
Molecular Biology
(Molecular)Neurology/Biology
Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics
Etc.

These subjects are all related if you're truly interested in drugs' chemical properties/how they work/ how they are made/etc.

Why not? I think both are great resources, especially when it comes to links to other websites that can provide articles, studies, etc...

Eh, I just find it difficult to actually study and learn things while reading off of a computer screen. I prefer real, tangible books. I have roughly 100 or so reference books relating to various topics. All of the information in those texts is freely available on the inetrnet.
When it comes to up-to-date articles, studies, etc, I agree the web is probably the way to go. However, for the OP's purpose(the absolute basics), reputable texbooks will suffice.

^Nice to see you guise back.

You must learn chemistry before you begin organic chem synths.

As much as I do love chemistry and the spirit of clandestine drug manufacture, I have to close this :(.
