Ive injected a few times before but there was always somebody experianced to help. In a few weekends time im doing it on my own and im a little worried about possible consequences, not of the drugs but a fucked up IV. Firstly, what exactly do you have to do to colapse a vein and what sort of problems does this cause?
Also if you hit an atery, i hear you will probably lose the limb. Can somebody explain to me how that works please.
Finally id like to know anything else that i could possibly do wrong and try to avoid it, thanx.

Yes, ive read PhreeX's guide but if you look at my questions they arent answered in it, ie PhreeX says Collapsed vein=Bad shit, i want to know what bad shit. The Guide says If your in an Atery then you could lose body parts, i want to know how this works. Dont tell me to read the FAQ because it doesnt have all the answers.

Your veins/arterys work to supply all the cells in your body with nutrients. If you colapse a vein it no longer can carry blood and may backup the bloodflow to that limb. This can in turn cause your limb to not get enough nutrients. Striking an artery is bad because of the intense pressure running through them. It will not beable to close without pressure. This means you could cause massive loss of blood to that limb, and could cause it to "die". If you do hit an artery, hold the limb above your heart and apply pressure to the injection site until the bleeding stops. The bleeding will probably be internal and no blood will be shooting out of your arm, but shooting INTO your arm, so make sure you monitor it closely to make sure that the bleeding has stopped. In either event, seek medical attention!!

If your veins aren't too used up as is and you don't have any marks in the general area, you're good to go.
Those two large veins on the inside of your elbow, as mentioned in the FAQ, are good. Probably the easiest in my experience, since they're large.
The other one I like runs from your elbow to your wrist. On the underneath of your arm, it's the one closest to the outside, on the side of your thumb. If you hold your hand tight and down, it should pop out. It's another large one.
Push the needle in. You're going to want to go at an angle, pointing towards your body, about 45 degrees, so almost parallel with your vein. Be firm, but not hard. Don't be a pussy and not push hard enough to get through the skin, or you'll just end up hurting yourself more and push the vein aside. Now once you're in, carefully move up the needle to the end part. Keep the needle in place as much as possible. The tricky part is pulling the end piece out to draw up blood. Just concentrate and take your time so as not to shake the needle around. At this point the needle tip should be almost entirely in. Pull. When you see blood going in, then push. If you just see an air bubble forming, pull out of the vein slightly then pull the needle out a tiny ways. Still nothing? Try again. You might have pushed the vein over.
Remember when you're taking the needle out to keep it going out at the same angle it went in.
It took me two tries doing it alone my first time. I got a hang of it really fast. Just don't be paranoid or nervous, or you'll stand a better chance of fucking up. Otherwise you should be okay.

Be careful you dont 'pop' a vein either. This happens to me when the plunger is pushed in to rapidly, and the vessel balloons up - it looks sick.Just remember to do it gradually.
Also when you miss the vein the area will bruise most times and generally sting like a mother.
You will know when you've got a vein, a little blood will squirt back into your fit - but most times you will have to pull it back a touch while pulling the plunger out - as soon as blood is drawn into your rig dont move it around anymore, just do your bizzo and enjoy.
Remember to follow all hygeinic procedures after this.

oh i'm gonna faint!

Speaking of blood, I like to fill my needles with blood and squirt them at people. Great source of entertainment at parties.
The only thing ravers enjoy more than watching a "dirty" shoot up is seeing blood get squirted around. It will help enhance their rolls.

Well, guess the questions were answered..
It's not *that* easy to collapse a vein, and if you stick to those big pipes (such as the wrist) you shouldn't have to worry about it.. if you hit an artery you WILL know it..
