ok so i shot up oxycntin the other day, and ive been tired ever since, all day long i just want to sleep, the day after i did it, when i woke up, myt arm felt like cold blood was running through it, and than later on my wrist did the same ting, its day 4, and though i dont fell that bloodflow anymore, im extremely tired, and im not sure if the bruise on my arm is normal from injecting but thats also an issue, has anyone ever experienced something like this? is it possible i infected my veins?? i used a filter, but i believe i missed at first but went back in with a little blood in syringe from pulling it out, so does anything sound serious here? my main concern is how tired i feel. i know its wrong, thats not the advice im looking for, im hoping to get some imput on someone who had similar incidents, or any incident as far as infecting the bloodstream goea, so if youve had a problem from shooting up healthwise, please feel free to tell me about it, it would help a great deal, ty so much

your arm would be bruised if you didnt make an exact insertion of the needle. your probally ok if you dont feel any lump, and dont see any black marks or smell any thing rotting at the injection site. i wouldnt do it again unless you've read some literature on the subject.

i would concern myself with this http://harm.live.radicaldesigns.org/article.php?id=212

Im more concerned about why your arm feels the way it does and why your tired all the time...

are you sure your not "over thinking" it?

A valid point as the mind is a powerful thing... should you have no symptoms as described in the post above the post I'm quoting, I would have to lean toward this as a parsimonious explanation.

How much experience do you have IV'ing said drug? What were other experiences like/how did they differ?

When I was making cocktails of dissolved OxyContin and Morphine (Dolcontin) I once had a bad reaction.
I prepared the shot in a hurry and i believe som wax and shit from the Dolcontin got into the syringe (though not visible) and after i injected
I felt this cold sensation in that arm... like the bloodflow had been cut off.

I waved the arm back and forth and it finally went warm again.. very scary.

actually there is a black mark, its faded but it looks like it runs down my vein a little and than lightens up to blue like the rest of my veins, could that be serious?

It seems that you are over thinking things, as was stated before. If it's one of the first times you have ever shot up, you will will feel "bizarre" about it, I know I did. You just need to move around and drink some orange juice or take a vitamin c tablet. You probably just felt the 40mgs more than you ever have and it's fucking with you. You'll be fine as long as there is no black marks or pus, but probably you're fine.

tiredness can happen as a "opiate hangover"

True story. Since I'm past most of the WD's, this is all that happens to me. I get really lethargic, and if I'm driving, it's essential that I pull over and re-dose, so I don't start swerving on the road. Since I don't have unpleasant WD symptoms anymore, I don't really recognize it as "coming down", since it's just like being sober and very tired at the same time.
