Ballpoint pen to blotter

If there were drawn lines with a normal ballpoint pen on blotter, how much, if any, would that effect the quality of the product?

Are the lines drawn in to seperate hits on an unperfed sheet? If so it should be fine.

Yes it should be fine, but why if you can use a pencil, use a ballpoint with ink? Because pencil lines can fade? Maybe it couldn't hurt to experiment with using a knife or a pizza-roller to simulate perforation yourself - by tracing the pencil lines? Just a 2-cent worth thought of course.

Yes, used to draw out my whole books with a ballpoint pen. Different colors each time. Red="Red Micro Line", Blue="Blue Micro Line", etc... Allegedly
