Bad reaction to (legal) Matrix party pills?

That's not really possible to answer with any certainty as we have yet to positively identify the ingredients of Matrix/Neon. But curiosity leads to discovery.....
 
Bit hard to tell, since grog affects us all in vastly different ways... and different varieties of grog at that.

I'd say that, on the whole, it would make the experience a hell of a lot more disorienting, and possibly nauseating.

If I were a betting woman, that is....
 
Really curious to test one of these neons.

I still wonder what it could have been that made her so sick.
Eating a cap full of bleach probably wouldn't put you in bed for so long!

No ingredients listed, and they had something written like "Novelty toy only - not for consumption" They had only just come in the shop that week. The only negative reaction I had to the matrix cap was that I found it really hard to urinate while I was under the influence, even though I was needing to. I didn't experience any bad comedown afterwards and nothing like nausea / vomiting.

I have also noticed that the Neon caps from HHH don't have a list of ingredients, however their other products do (Empathy, Energy, Cherry Pop, etc). I'm curious now as to what active ingredients are in these matrix and neon products, as they are the strongest legal highs I have tried from HHH.

Yep, I've tried the Neons also, however not with any alcohol this time. I took one cap and went out to see a band (The Church) with a friend (who also was trying Neon for the first time). The effects on one cap were noticeable, however after I had taken the second cap about 2 hours after the first, I was in a decent blissed out and buzzed state for the next 3 hours or so. At the peak it did feel a bit to me like a moderate hit of MDA, a nice blissed fuzzy disassociated headspace, and yes, pretty much the same as I felt with the Matrix cap. My friend was also pleasantly surprised at her experience on 2 caps. We had a nice night

I found I was feeling noticeable effects about an hour after I dropped the first Neon cap. At about hour two I took the second cap. At about hour three I was nicely disassociated, and was certainly glad I wasn't driving home that night.

The post count of 3/5 posts about Neon/Matrix products also makes me suspect foul play...

If it does not have a list of ingredients, do not eat it!

Also, the terms roughscale uses like disassociated might lead someone to believe that there was DXM in these pills?

The not listing ingredients is certainly dodgy, however I can kind of see both sides. I personally think no ingredients at all is better than fake ingredients. Anything with no listed ingredients I would assume to be RC laced. Anything sold as plant food, or novelty toy, or bath salts I would assume to be RC laced. Are there legal pills out there that list fake ingredients? The manufacturers need to develop some sort of standard to let people at least know what they are in for. Not listing ingredients at least lets people know they are playing Russian roulette with random RCs while keeping the authorities in the dark as to what (probably) illegal substance they are using. Many people are more than happy to play Russian roulette with random RCs. But to list mild herbal ingredients then spike product with random RC is much worse imho. It is misleading people who may not want to play Russian roulette with random RCs. What I am getting at is some sort of underground standard needs to be developed. If manufacturers could at least be consistent in the way they do this we can educate people somewhat on what to expect from various products. What do others think, keeping in mind the current prohibitions and likely instant bans on anything that works make this a difficult situation with no perfect solution possible.

I am simply just a BL newbie, we've all got to start our post count on here somewhere / somehow. I've been a lurker and learner for the last 12 months on here, and am very grateful that this community exists.

Sorry if you have misinterpreted my use of the word "dissassociated" - I probably should have used the term "nicely out of my head" instead - this is precisely what I was meaning.

As you will have already seen if you have read the rest of the threads, I am not the only bluelighter who has spoken positively about this product.

I'm not affiliated in any way with HHH - just a satisfied customer, and glad they exist as a legal alternative in these days of crap illegal pills (I wish these came with a list of ingredients also !!)

I heard about these neon caps off a mate about a week or so ago, so I decided to do some research and ended up at this thread.

I know it might seem pretty suss that another newbie has turned up talking about Neon/Matrix caps, but I'm just as curious as everyone else here.

Bought 4 caps today. Broke one open to take a little taste...very strong bitter/citrus taste. Hoping that bitter orange ISN'T the main active ingredient, otherwise I've just wasted a bunch of cash. Anyway, one down the hatch thus far, and I'll be swilling 2 or 3 beers over the night to stay loose.

Dude at the counter hyped them up. Said they're good for clubbing or "monging out on". Reckons one will last 8 - 10 hours, so either he's full of it, or these definitely AREN'T mephedrone. Also reckons that the caps "work on your heart rate", whatever that means. The package definitely says "not for consumption", which I suppose is a good sign.

Starting to feel a bit loose. I'll let you know how it goes, and post pictures of the caps/packaging (if no one has any objections).

Oh yeah, I'll be in for a boring night of WoW, so take that into account :]

First one not doing a heap for me, so emptied out the second one and bombed it.

Took a picture of the powder for anyone interested. It's brown with white specs. Brown color comes from cocoa, which must be the filler. Same as with the matrix pills, according to that last link I posted.

Starting to feel pretty loose, which sounds rather ambiguous. It feels rather ambiguous :P. I'll report back in an hour or so.

Body feeling very warm and tingly. Dozy warm feeling behind the eyes. About to head off to the servo to get smokes...always a good sign! A few yawns, and slightly sweat palms. Also a tiny bit of gurning and restless leg.

my wife and i just had one neon each .. got wine and smokes .. will see where it goes .. but mightily impressed with the empathy at Womad last week .. 2 each and plenty of cider = beautiful night .. had the empathy with some friends after a big meal and heaps of wine and we were happily buzzed out till 10 am .. very very nice ... keep ya posted /// oh .. HHH in Adelaide has the Matrix

Been peaking pretty hard for the past couple of hours. Not as cerebral as I'd hoped, but the body buzz is fucking ridiculous. It feels like my skin has tides. Stretching is orgasmic. A little bit of paranoia and anxiety...might only do one next time, especially if out at a club. We went on a little drive to the servo, and it was actually enjoyable. Threw on NAPT in the car and just felt hell in the zone.

Oh yeah, and I ended up consuming maybe...2.5 standard bottles of full strength beer. So not enough to get loaded.

These get my thumbs up. Don't know how seriously I'll be taken due to my signup date, but w/e. Photos when i'm less fried.

I hate to say it again... but the words that the people posting in this thread are using sound very familiar if you have ever been to a smart shop. They are rarely used on the street, and even less on BL.

If atom.smasher and funkeldink want to hang around on BL and prove themselves, I will stop posting these paranoid messages.

Maybe give us some HR info and we can start to trust you?? eh?

I don't like the sound of mixing two unknown substances either funkeldink. Please inform us if you know what is going down...
 
Hey guys,

I have taken two of these Neon caps and I felt... Weird. Had a constant tingle running down my arms and head. Wasn't amazing.

My girlfriend took two (having no drug experience) when she was shit faced at a festival and she said she was sweating heaps and it took ages to kick in but when it did she was tripped out and had mad tingles/pins and needles running down her arms.

I think whatever these are they aren't amazing. Just seemed to annoy me the high.
 
partied hard late 80's and into the 90's and the good stuff ... doves being my fave .. 40 this year and only once in a while now .. sick of crap when i get them .. thought i would try the legals out of intrigue .. 4 of us had the EMPATHY one night just chillin with some wine and had a lovely night ... pretty shocked to be honest .. didnt think this would happen ... out of this thought we would try again at Womad .. again .. a lovely time was had /// got the neon yesterday see what would happen ... not as nice as empathy but very different .. nice time with my wife .. but again ..pretty strange,, not in a bad way ... felt slighty chemical //. would i have them again? dunno ///maybe ... but empathy certainly ...

Comedown was pretty shit. Not unbearable, but not exactly fun either. Low level headache, and a massive headspin every time I stood up...to the point where my hearing went crunchy, and I was almost passing out. Could have puked at a couple of points last night, but managed to hold it down. There was also a weird dull heaviness in my ribcage that came and went.

The caps did actually last for quite a while...once the peak was over, my body was still buzzing, and my thoughts were very disjointed and scattered. Sleeping was almost impossible. I've read that there is supposed to be a visual aspect to these caps, but I didn't get anything in particular from them. My eyes played tricks on me a couple of times, but nothing psychedelic.

I would probably take them again if it was a choice between say...these and piperazines. But real drugs will always be better. Can't get over the body buzz I was getting from it though...nothing else I've taken really touches it, apart from peaking my tits off on LSD.

EDIT:

Forgot to mention, took a 100mg 5-HTP when I started feeling a bit monged. It's probably placebo, but it helped to clear my head for a little while.

Took 2 and then another 2, 3 hours later. I won't be buying again, i did dance alot, felt loose and light... but there was no head high which was frustrating, did not need to take a xanax to sleep after these i was out like a light.
Took first two at 9:30 and second two at 2am, come 5am i felt really unmotivated and drunk like...slept till 4pm,woke up and felt a bit scatty.

the neons are interesting. Mild sedation and haze for an hour and then 1- 2 hrs later a more psychedelic/spacey vibe. Quite subtle, but long lasting.

My sources say:

The main effect is courtesy of lagochilin extracted from turkestan mint. I believe this is combined with some of the ingredients from Empathy (which i enjoy much more.)

Get some "puff" resin from you know where and taste it, tastes like the neon caps as you down them. Turkestan mint extract is very nice indeed.
