Bad long comedown - looking for advice

I've used MD a few times over the years, usually a very small dose of crystal rock MD. Probably less than 50mg. I've had MDE? (if that's a thing), it was sold as eve, a couple more times always with pretty good results.

BUT...about 8 days ago:

* Had 4 beers
* Had 4.5 pills of MDMA over about 9 hours, with a few more beers.
* I ate fairly well before, during and after.
* I smashed the water constantly all around this time period.
* Possibly unrelated, but I tried a vaporiser for the first time which supposedly had a few different compounds one supposedly a THC extract, the others were over the counter I think (I've smoked a lot of bud over the years, so it wasn't my first time)

and now I'm still experiencing:
* high levels of anxiety that come and go,
* mood swings,
* a sort of light-headedness type feeling -- like I'm a bit faint almost at times?
* bit of blurriness when looking at the same thing (difficulty focusing)
* difficulty concentrating on my job / work / tasks
* occasionally muscle twitching

The anxiety is STRONGLY amplified by the prospect of having this for 10+ months (as others have described here and elsewhere on the net). I'm hoping / praying someone can say that the feelings can / have subsided sooner?

Thanks everyone

Just wanted to add, I'm wondering if it maybe wasn't strictly MDMA that I had...it took about 1 hour to kick in (I originally only had a half, so I took 1 more after about the first 40 mins) and I feel like it might have worn off quicker than normal - also, I just had 1 small cone of weed to get me off to sleep (was out straight away). In the past, I've had 2 pills and a line of MD and 10 hours later after heaps of weed I still couldn't even think about sleeping...

You have to give it time. This use to happen to me always after using. 8 days is no where long enough. The anxiety is killer but it will subside.

4.5 pill ? Kind of not surprised you have a nasty comedown. I never had anxiety or mood swing although after one particularly hard roll I did have those.
* a sort of light-headedness type feeling -- like I'm a bit faint almost at times? (frankly I felt like I'm going to pass out each time I stood up)
* bit of blurriness when looking at the same thing (difficulty focusing)
* difficulty concentrating on my job / work / tasks

Simply put too much molly over night. Also for the future rolling get 5HTP is does make a difference.

There are a fair amount of people that just get a longer than usual comedown with more anxiety/lightheadedness type stuff, it takes a few weeks to get back into the swing things.

For now I would try to get some exercise. Cardio would be great. Eat lots and make sure you check out some mindfulness resources, there are guided mindfulness tapes on youtube for example. Try not to "think aloud" all day long - the whole talking to yourself inside your head thing is no bueno. So be aware if that's a problem for you, and learn to use mindfulness and apply it throughout the day to stay in the present moment, not regretting the past or worrying about the future (both of which will take away from your present and future wellbeing).

Hey guys thanks for the advice...it's been nearly a month now and I'm pretty much back to my normal self. Went to the Dr because the anxiety was unbearable and he gave me a Beta Blocker (stops the adrenaline from giving me the physical feeling). Never touching MDMA again - sticking to that cocaine and that marijuana.

I'm not saying no one else should do it because every body's system is different but I hope this serves as a cautionary tail!

(p.s. It turned out it was MDMA + Amph. which I haven't had before, so that could have been that dodge part for me?)

Test your drugs in the future. Cocaine is really not a safe drug compared to MDMA but I guess it's less likely to give you this particular experience.

Have some valium handy, but don't get used to taking them often, thats definitely a path you don't want to go down. Stay clear of all drugs and it will vanish. The anxiety is a killer tho, I get it really bad after a heavy sesh.
