Bad Idea: ...drink all the resin tea!!!!

Perhaps this is a hangover thinking, but it seems you should have some friends on here first before you start "trolling" with stuff on the level of drinking bong water. 8)

...how many times does someone have to say that THC is not water soluble for people to understand that THC is not water soluble? You're getting everything that the water is filtering out of the smoke, and none of that is THC, as it is not soluble in water.

And by drinking that bong water, you've basically done the equivalent to eating a cigarette butt. Nasty, nasty, nasty.

THC is fat-soluble. The shit that winds up in water is soluble crap, ash, and marginally soluble tar. It is not the same shit. Ie, the crap you don't want in your body.

and i Do know THC is fat-soluble. thats why i put Butter!! in the fucking water before we boiled the pipe. (i dont know if i mentioned but it should be obvious) 8)

i obviously would not drink bongwater or resin tea if it didn't have some form of lipid/fat in it!!!:D

i don't think Bluelight needs useless flamers who bring arguments from differnt threads.

i think people should know that its my experience that:
1. resin water is pretty safe to drink
2. it gets you high
3. and i will continue to do it and think other people should try if they want to

i know what placebo is but honestly if you are still high like 20 hours after you smoked you know something else has to be in effect.
thank you for your time sir... now go and shave that nasty ass beard while you think about how u just got ur ass served to u on a shiny platter by a 16 yr old.

I don't know if this would actually work, but the reactions have been pretty negative. If it got you high, more power to you. I don't know why people have to get angry.
 
It's fun seeing where this conversation has gone.

Either way, from this vantage point, all I can say is good thing for the anti-emetic properties of cannabis, that's gotta be the only way you didn't puke that shit up. I don't even want to know what the worse tasting shit you've had is.

I'm sure it's possible you got very high from drinking that sludge, as I know smoking resin can get you quite stoned as well, but I'd be a little more hesitant to say that "resin water is pretty safe to drink" considering this only happened several days ago. Maybe you didn't immediately double over in some kind of gastrointestinal nightmare, but personally, I'd be worried about the long term effects of routinely pouring tar into your stomach.
 
^you know what thats pretty true. i mean honestly it really didnt taste bad but probably no one should make a habit out of drinking that stuff. though it does get u high i bet it probably would be pretty bad for you if done often due to all the tar and carcinogens.

That's good of you to point out dstoner, I honestly can't tell if you're trolling or not. I'm sure if you put butter in that water you did get high though... *shudder* resin is so stank
