Baclofen, some quick questions

Tried out the old search, found some decent info, not so much what I was looking for though.

Anyways, heres my situation. Been taking a lot(for me) of hydrocodone, and tramadol lately. So I decided to take a tolerance break (week, if that doesn't help then Ill bump it up to a month or so).

Taking the baclofens in the meantime, was curious how much is safe to take (i know with ultrams its 400mg). Also, as far as tolerance goes, these work on the GABA receptor if I read right, so I can safely assume these won't interfere with my opiod break?

it works on the gaba-b receptor..
which is what phenibut, baclofen, alcohol, and ghb (partly) work on.

i used to have a script to them 40mg/day 10mg 4xday and then 20mg 2xday
the most ive taken in one day is about 150mg, I AM NOT SAYING IT'S SAFE but was just letting them know it's possible to dose that high,
and maybe even higher..
the normal dose prescribed by doctors is 80mg/day.
it works good for w/d's and is a little bit recreational on its own, some say it is others say it isnt so i will say it kinda is (but to me.. it is) but theres really nothing to compare it to except maybe ghb but not completely.

a good starting dose would be 40mg and work up *if needed to no higher than 80mg/day

i was mixing it with other stuff i would usually take between 40-80 after that your wasting it.

You dont want to take too much because it can make you sick, I would stick to no more than 40mg's at one time at a few times per day. I use baclofen as a potentiator, I like them because they can be railed.

zanaflex (tizanidine) can be railed too and it's a muscle relaxer and it fucks you up a lot more than baclofen. just thought i'd let you know.. half a 4mg tab your nodding like you just did a shot of dope. no lie. you need to snort it though.. orally it's not too good.
but baclofen at like 60mg orally is a decent high. i still say zanaflex is better tho.

What would someone be prescribed these muscle relaxants for? Back strain, groin strain?
I need some serious muscle relaxation myself and have to be content with benzo's, alcohol or opiates.

Valium is the best muscle relaxer I have ever used and its a benzo. Muscle relaxers would be prescribed for muscle tightness or spasms which do occur with a back strain or any other muscle strain.

Valium is the best muscle relaxer I have ever used and its a benzo. Muscle relaxers would be prescribed for muscle tightness or spasms which do occur with a back strain or any other muscle strain.

I find clonazepam to be equally effective, but Valium (diazepam) is an awesome muscle relaxer. I wish we had Soma in Canada still! Stupid backwards ass Canadian government/drug availability .

Lorazepam (Ativan) is also a great muscle relaxant. Cyclobenzaprine is the best with codeine, sends you flying, and its a good sleep aid. Tolerance is an issue though, I can take 60mg and get slightly tired, when 20mg used to knock me right out.

Yeah 40mg was pretty good, but I got the lost inhibitions, and decided to take some opiates lol. Though I noticed a significant potentation from them. I'll save them for when I get high next time, guess I'll be drug free for a few days.

I don't take a lot, but after about a year of taking pills every other day or so I've been struggling with what addictions is. I don't need to get high, but I want to and have no reason not too, you know? It's like I'm content, then think, hey why not get high today? The breaks seem to keep me a bit more sane I suppose. I'm a psychology major, so it's hard for me to figure out my own brain though.
