ayahuasca - experienced - absolute knowledge and understanding

Technically, no, Only with B. Caapi. The indians in the Amazon Basin did not have P. Harmala. actually the DMT component is not the Ayahuasca part, the DMT was considered an additive, onlt the B. Caapi was.

that is weird that the OP says
The effects often take really long (up to 4h) to begin for me

for me i ususally purge within 15 min and am peaking with 5 minutes after purging.
i have never had to wait more than 30 min to trip off ayahusca.

the trip itself it only a couple hours but give me an after glow for a day or two.

but 4 hours to kick it? doesnt seem right,....or you body metabolozes shit really slow.

either way it was a good read! thx

i often start to feel something before 4 hours, around 2-3h (never before)
but it's very light and stays at a low plateau until the experience really starts around 4 hours

but my metabolism for sure is weird
for many (most) drugs (including ayahuasca) i have to take more than most people

thank you

yes, several times (only the extractions, not the brew)

a few experiences were comparable, and even brought new insights

but then, some of the experiences became pretty dull
well, in a way i had already learned what i needed to

however, 2 years ago, i did have another experience of the same kind as the one described. so the magic has not disappeared yet. it's just statistically harder to get there

at on point i was taking it pretty regularly (every 3 or so months in hope to get a similar experience again and cure my resurging depression). but it was not working much

last time was one year ago, and although is was just as strong an experience as you can ask, i didn't get too much from it. a big mind fuck, but not many insights

i will take it again in a few months and hope that a one year break will have been enough (i haven't taken any other psychedelics either since)
but you can never tell
the last "epiphany" experience (the one 2 years ago) happened shortly after i had had another (dull) one

anyway. what i felt after the experience described was "that's it! i will never need to take another psychedelic drug in my life!"

the curiosity and nostalgy got stronger, but i believe that deep inside, this feeling was the good one

i was just surprised to get so many answers so easily and so fast and have a hard time accepting that ayahuasca doesn't have anything more too offer me
(if it can just put me back in the same state, that's all i ask :) )

Seriously one of my favorite reports of all time, no joke.
I loved it. I dont even really have that much to say.

Except that I need to get moving on my own Ayahuasca experiences. :)

A truly fantastic report! I've always had this theory that the universe is a living organism that is slowly growing self aware through it's organic living components. We have finally reached a plateau of self awareness, the next level will be when we begin to modify ourselves through technology, and through technology essentially achieve one consciousness. I recommend reading The Singularity Is Near by Raymond Kurzweil. Don't take the time line too seriously but the concepts are fascinating. Also The Last Question by Isac Asimov. It’s a great short story on the singularity concept decades ahead of it's time.http://www.multivax.com/last_question.html

I've always been kind of scared of DMT, but after reading this report I really want to try it :)
