I realize DMT is a rather stable compound, but I am wondering the stability of the other alkaloids and betacarbolines within the brew during days or even weeks post brew. And how improper storage would impact the viability of these compounds and/or alter the effects. Any possible unpleasantries?
Not sure which salt of DMT is usually in aya preparations, but i know DMT freebase if not in solution will oxidize over time & lose potency substantially. According to this, it seems quite stable though As for the minor alkaloids in various aya preparations... i'm not really sure. Don't really think there's that much known about the non-DMT/5-MeO-DMT alkaloids though.
Think the harmala alkaloids are fairly stable though.
