Hi.

Iv been kicking myself lately for missing the perfect time to plant some seeds and start a guerilla grow but i was wondering what would happen if I was to plant a few seeds now or even in a few months time. Remember of course that its summer now and although it will be cooling down over the next few months and rain will inevitably fall in winter, temparture is still high and light is still usually in abundance. Would it be okay to say, plant 5 seeds in a few weeks time and just accept the smaller yield and save the remaining 5 seeds until late this year?

Thanks

^ true. I looked up New Purple something or other from Nirvana and it looks like its suited to outdoor growing in Europe and colder climates so it should do well during an aussie summer. I might go for that, get a pack of 10 and plant 5 now and 5 at the beginning of growing season later this year.

....I would plant and grow if I had seeds :(. But yeah our summer (Melbourne anyway) Has just started really, so I'd expect it to keep going for a while. And Melbourne weather we have summer-esque days in winter and vice versa so *shrugs*

I grew all this season until 2 weeks ago when a possum ate all my crop.

4 plants gone... Jock Horror, Northern Lights and White Widow, they were almost 5ft tall. R.I.P :(

Australia does have an amazing growing season though, most plants will grow like, well, weeds...

Ah, I'm stopping smoking so much this year, gotta cut down for my studies.

Nothing wrong with bagseed. Its nice to get a few seeds out of some fire ass mids that you know you can plant and have a good product at the end. My friends think black seeds are males, and females are lighter colored..lol they don't understand those are young/old seeds.

That sucks man... but damn I LOL'D A POSSUM? LOL

I'd say go for it.
I'm in QLD so i get a far warmer and more stable climate (ughh. save me) And last year i planted a few peyote and san pedro seeds in the fourth week of winter. They came through fine (unfortunately mine too were vandalised, by scrub turkeys however) and are now gone :S.
You've still got around 5 weeks of summer, and i'd say it's looking to be a HOT HOT HOT autumn, maybe above average rain in winter, i say this because our last winter was cold as hell, at least here.

Best of luck, and install some mesh, lest your beauties fall prey to our larger pests >.>

go for it, just buy bagseed. if youre worried about growing time you dont wanna be dishing out big bucks for potentially low yield.

See if you can find an early harvester with some good indica roots in there as they are more suitable for cooler temperatures.

I'd day go for it, unless indoors is an option for you but I am assuming it is not. It is easy enough to acquire more seeds by the time growing season starts again later on this year so why not put the ones you have to good use?
