Following is a recruitment message from ANU - they are targeting stimulant users resident across Australia.

Hi,

If you are an Australian who uses stimulants such as speed, ice or ecstasy, you may be interested in our study. We are currently testing the effectiveness of an online program, www.breakingtheice.anu.edu.au, which helps people who want to reduce their stimulant use.

The website contains three modules involving quizzes, goal setting, and recommended lifestyle changes. Each module takes about 30 minutes to complete. There are also three surveys for which you will receive $20 for each survey to be completed at the start, three and six months after using the website.

The study has been approved by the ANU Human Research Ethics Committee (Protocol 2011/358) and registration will be open for approximately the first six months of 2013.

The study is open only to Australians who are stimulant users and who are 18 years or older.

If you have any questions, please contact Brad at the Centre for Mental Health Research, Australian National University on 02 6125 6825, or via [email protected].

Or if you’re ready to participate, just go straight to www.breakingtheice.anu.edu.au.

Kind regards,
Breaking the Ice Team
