Heroin Atlanta "wet" Heroin

I've got a pretty good guy I go to whenever I need H. It's almost always pretty good quality, but the last couple of times he has given me some that is wet. Not dripping wet, but instead of it being rock hard, it has been the consistency of playdough. He told me that the guy he gets it from didn't want to sell any because it hadn't dried out yet and wasn't ready. When it did dry out overnight, it was the same rock hard kind I had gotten from him a few days prior. Surely they aren't making the shit in Atlanta. Is there a liquid form of H they can spray on something else and sell as a solid?

Fast forward a few weeks and some new stuff comes in. It's rock hard and great quality. I go back for more 3-4 days later, and what he brings me is semi-moist, like it had something sprayed on it. It's the same rock hard stuff, but it's kind of damp.

I'm kind of getting the idea that my guy is spraying something on it to make it weigh more. Or is there something I'm missing? He's never screwed me over, and if I don't like what he brings me, he'll take it back and find me something different. Anyone have any idea on what could be going on?

Not sure really, it could be anything, the dope trade is crazy these days, and there are many hands it passes through before reaching the average consumer.

Have you used a test kit to confirm that this dealers product is pure indeed heroin and not fentanyl or some other adulterant?

Yes. I don't test every time I get some from him, but I did test the first few times I started back after an extended time away. It always shows as pure H.

While waiting on his source to re-up, he has told me multiple times that it will be another few days before they have anything because the stuff they were waiting on came in but had fentanyl in it, so they are waiting on different stuff. He has told me before that all of their products are tested before anything is sold. I tend to believe him. He has told me that multiple former H customers are asking for fentanyl now instead of H, and he won't sell them any because the sources he deals with won't get involved with it.

Well, good for him. Idk what the fuck is wrong with people and why they would specifically ask for fent when dealing with someone that can specifically get actual H. It's a shit opioid tbh.

But, I'm not sure really. I'm on the east coast as well, and have never ran into any kind of moist dope I dont think.

Could it be that he's done an acetone or some other wash to remove adulterants and cuts before he sold it? It takes time to dry after doing that.

My best guess is that he's changed it's composition, by either washing it or cutting it with something, those can involve a drying process.

I just wanted to check on here in case there was something going on that others were familiar with before I confront him.
