Ativan (Lorazepam) Addict

Alright so i'm pretty huge into benzos.
mostly ativan(lorazepam) though because it's all i have access to so far.
i've been taking it and abusing it for awhile now. my tolerance is to about 4mgs.
i know about how you can't just take a giant amount and get the benzo buzz feeling.
i originally had it at 1mg then when it went away i went to 2mgs then 3mgs only for a little bit then got it at 4mgs for awhile.
now when i do 4mgs it does nothing so i increased it by 1/2 and didn't get the buzz. then i tried 5mgs and nothing.
what should i do?
the buzz is that rush , warm , calm feeling where (i dunno if this is subjective) you just want to be creative and everything looks artistic. it's happy and optimistic and fuzzy. you know.
but when you don't get that buzz on this stuff, it just feels like your sedated and you'll do weird things but you won't notice that they're weird at the time and you won't even be aware that you are fucked up.
so, i guess i need a real benzo pro to answer this one. i have no access at the time to any other drugs so keep that in mind.
i don't think snorting works.
not sure about shooting, wouldn't know how but if it's possible please do tell.
anymore info that i don't know would be helpful.

I'd like to help but I honestly dont know what your question is or what you are trying to find out.

If you've been abusing it for awhile and your tolerance is only at 4mg of ativan for a dose, you're doing prettu good. Most people dont feel anything short of a good 10mg dose.

Yes you can. As long as that amount doesnt knock you out you will get that "benzo buzz feeling."

No offense but you should switch to a real benzo if recreation is what your looking for. Or jump your dose up to about 10mg.

You've gotten used to the drug. Take a long break from it or experiment with upping the dose significantly. Going from 4mg to 4.5mg isnt gonna give you any noticeable difference.
My advice would be to take a week off or so and then jump right back in with no less than a 5mg dose.
Snorting is a waste. Oral doses are more active. Shooting is also a waste. There's no real rush. Duration is very short. And it's not water soluble so your gonna have to get creative as to what your gonna use to dissolve the pill in.
Get your tolerance down or find a better benzo. Ativan i definately at the bottom of my list. If I dont have a handful, I dont even waste my time.

OK... my main advice would be to watch out with the continued benzo abuse, because benzo withdrawl can be the most painful withdrawl on earth, and can possibly cause seisures and kill you. Here is a link to the benzos withdrawl FAQ:

And since you seem like the impatient type here is a compressed version of several benzo withdrawl FAQs I wrote for a close friend who had to suffer through this:
Figure out your average daily dose (4mg?) and then divide that number in half... try taking that amount (2mg?) the next couple days. If no benzo withdrawls symptoms (anxiety) occur within 5 days start lowering that amount by .5mg every 3 days. Drink lots of water, no caffeine, no pseudoephedrine, no other stimulants, no alcohol or psychedelics. The only drugs I'd reccomend taking would be beta blockers for a racing heart, ibuprofin for muscle soreness, and benadryl for sleep.
Now to answer your question:
I'd recommend this great combo, Ativan (be careful about dosage) goes great with Corona or Dos Equis or any other fine BEER. Don't do this in Tijuana though, or you'll end up in jail.

i appreciate your concern. i know all about the withdrawal, been through it all, you have some good methods listed there. i wouldn't have been able to get through it if it weren't for the support of my girlfriend.
Now, i'm more careful about it. and i got prescribed a little more recently because i actually have a few anxiety disorders. been on this junk since i was in 4th grade. when it started .5 as needed for attacks.
i only up the dose now for fun sometimes and wanted to know how to get the best out of those times.
i can't drink alchy. worst stomach in the world.
and for the other advice i don't think i have that much to do 10mg , maybe once i can try it. i'm trying now to get access to valiums or rohypnol.

i can be very patient, i practice spiritual things such as merkaba meditation and such, i just wanted a reply that night because that's when i wanted to take some more then usual.

rohypnol is way overrated. Dont waste your time.
Valium, xanax, and/or klonopin will be much easier to find just as good if not better then rohypnol.

Catapres/Clonidine works very well for "slowing things down" when you're going though withdrawl/detox.
Corona/Dos Equis is FAR from "fine beer". I hate Corona, but I hate Henniken. Don't get me wrong, Corona is still my 2nd-3rd fav beer, but still isn't "Fine". Go for a New Castle Brown Ale, or a Sam Adams Double Bock

Drink lots of water, and I would definitely recommend speaking with a doctor about this. Maybe he can offer you some insight into how you can properly get the relief you need from these medications (even if you don't have a prescription, you could call and speak to someone) and if they are not helping you, maybe you could find some alternative, or a way to cut back in order to make sure they don't interfere with you.
