Hi all. Been on methadone maintenance for about 4 months just recently dropped from 70 to 60mg a day. i like to dabble with benzos and picked up a decent tolerance doing so. first i started usin ativan for my anxiety and loved the feelin it gave me, then i found xanax and it quickly became my doc. i usually take about 5mg of xanax.the other day i got my hands on 7.5mg of klonopin and i took it all at once and it did NOTHING! today i got my hands on 13- 1mg ativan. i took it slow. i started with 5mg. nothing. 2mg more...2mg more....1mg more...i'm up to 10mg of ativan. How much could i (should i) dose...i'm just worried i dont wanna end up ending up dyin my sleep tonight...with all the horror stories of mixin benzos and dones...but i feel the urge to take the last 3mg. the only thing i feel is very slight sleepiness. should i pop em and go for it or not? please help! it would be greatly appreciated!!!thx all!

lorazepam isn't very potent ime
if you've already taken 10 mg 3 mgs more probably won't do much.. but i still wouldn't do it.
IME 2.5 mg of lorazepam equals more or less 1 mg of alprazolam, YMMV

in the name of harm reduction i'd say no, methadone + benzos is unpredictable..

methadone and benzodiazepines are fatal taken together, this combo is probably the leading cause of death for my dearly departed friends and mixing the two are never advised.
not to mention that you already are abusing benzodiazepines heavily regardless of however much you perceive you feel them, at double dosage mg even for a rather weak one like lorazepam, you are not realizing the CNS depression that still results regardless of whether you feel intoxication from benzodiazepines.
