ativan and adderall: combo high?

quick q..swim is prescribed adderall (instant release) and ativan. swim takes four adderall 10s and feels great for a couple hours, soaring for the first 30min-1hr. He/she takes ativan on occasion, 1mg gives a warm n fuzzy after about 20 min but about 45min later drowsiness takes over. weighing around 110lbs swim wants to know, considering the nearly perfect doses that have been est for each individual med, what doses could be explored in combining the two meds to create a nice high?

swim has tried these two together at the previously mentioned doses, with little success.
Something that may or may not be relevant...swim has previously and on occasion found his/her best high using lorcet/lortab (10mg) but rarely with hydracodone/oxycodone (variety of doses).

These threads, 'how to get high' aren't really allowed, we're mostly here for HR.

In my experience though, benzos are good for reducing anxiety and twitches that I get on stims, so low doses can work nicely, just don't expect to be fukkt from it. They are also useful on the comedown, to help sleep and stop you from sketching out.

Amps and benzos can be used together, or benzos can be used to ease the amp comedown. In any event, if you are used to taking 40 mg Adderall, and 1 mg Ativan, I would stick to those doses if you were to combine them. You could up the Ativan dose to 2 mg if you feel comfortable either to mix with the Adderall or help with the comedown. A word of advice, if you want a true combo, take the Ativan first, wait until you can feel it, and then take the Adderall. If the benzo is taken before the amphetamine, the benzo won't dull out the effects of the amphetamine as much as if it were taken after the amphetamine. If you want to ease a comedown, obviously take the Ativan right before the comedown.

I agree with the othet posters. I'd pesonally take the benzo as I was comin down.
And btw, they don't allow usin "swim" anymore because we all know it's for you. Just a heads up

We don't use SWIM here. We all know its you, and it doesn't protect you legally.

We also don't cater to "how do I get the best high?" type threads. Mixing benzos and amphetamines is safe, and many doctors prescribe this combination.

Since lorazepam is a short to medium acting benzo, your best bet is to take it right when the amphetamines start to wear off, or, if you want to be 100% sure, right when the comedown begins.
