In one second
I will assume its the end

I will leave all this behind
To open up new doors
I have to close others
for reasons unknown to me
as I seek for cover
One second, just a moment
and things will all change

and it will never be the same
Closing of my heart
like a draw bridge comes down
closing of my soul
my face eternal in its frown
Best I keep on believing
and changing my surroundings
how I can I come this far
without a sense of forgiving
Every second of every minute
of every hour I am living
but that is all
time for motion
I steady myself, no retreat
looking forward to what I will recieve
piece of mind in my soul
and a new place for my heart to go
Deeper, yet stronger
hopefully this time will last longer
no rehearsals or fakes
I try not to make any more mistakes
But forever learning
im growing, although hurting
standing in a crowd of people
im lost without warning
In one second
I will assume this is the end
