I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the OP's claims. Sure, there might not be any scientific evidence to support it, but there'd only be some if they were actively seeking out this to prove or disprove it.
I'm not saying he's correct, I'm not saying he's completely wrong. But just because nobody knows anything about it doesn't mean you can just dismiss it at the drop of an internet hat
