It really depends on the doctor.... I asked my gp for some diazepam and told her that if I wanted to get high from it (and I haven't taken that diazepam for fun ever (that's what the benzos bought online are for)) I could just buy much more than she can give me and much funner benzos online without any trouble and got it and some lyrica (her idea and it has been a wonderful medication for me both for anxiety and for pain (my back has never hurt since I started taking it... before that it did hurt sometimes.... I stopped taking it once for 2 weeks to see if there are any addiction issues and there were none) and I am on an extremely small dose (3x25mg per day which is under the recommended 150mg per day, but if it works at a much lower dose then why take more?))... I gave some to my friend who also has problems with anxiety and it didn't do anything for him so I guess it's pretty hit or miss, but works for me, has no side effects, doesn't make me addicted and is covered by insurance so really what more could I ask for) . I'm not from Germany but another EU country near by and most doctors are very reluctant to give benzos, but I got all sorts of weird shit that didn't work or had more side effects than good ones from various psychiatrists.... all kinds of ssris, antipsychotics, huge doses of lyrica..... so I just stick to my gp now for the lyrica and maybe some more diazepam once I run out (I got it in September last year and still have a few pills so you can see I haven't used them for fun (if I did the whole box would be gone in a few days)).... I've even had her ask me about various rc benzos which was interesting..... never told me why (probably because she can't since it's for her other patients and she can't really give me information on that).... but I was kind of flattered by it and happy to explain anything she asked and I knew (I like reading about benzos and I most doctors don't know much about new rc benzos since details aren't easy to find (I mean it's not like there's a book with accurate information on them... you have to read a lot of research articles, forum posts, .. and filter out the bullshit from the truth which takes a lot of time)).........
