I'm looking at my ashtray right now and I see a bunch of butts sticking up, as if my ashtray became a tiny town with houses and surrounded by ashes. I'd love to see a town burn to the ground, I think. It'd probably be the most intimate emotion for me. People are vulnerable and empathetic during a disaster, this is the reason it'd be intimate to me. You could feel what I feel when my shelter is falling to pieces in the ashes. I could look at you, and know how you feel. If it's the tears in your eyes, the losses you have suffered. I can feel it too. I'll accept the pain if that's all you can offer. I do know that this sounds really depressing, but I'm actually really happy right now. I have hope to have an intimate moment with all of you, one of these days. When there's a disaster, I'll cry with you because I know you can't smile for my happiness and I can't for yours.
