Ok, I am admittedly biased here, but I really think Asa Hutchinson gets worked here. I feel like he embarrassed himself and the War on Drugs by doing an especially poor job of defending the current policy.

It almost seems as though he checked his logic at the door. He just ignores most points people made, or he just makes stuff up.

"The Marijuana prohibition is about saving teenage lives."

Really? Number of deaths from marijuana: Zero.

How do people get away with saying things like that?

Also, what the fuck!??? He says if people don't like it they can change the law? No, they can't, they need a 51% majority. there are LOTS of things that probably would not be voted a 51 % majority but that remain legal? Why? Because you don't have to LIKE something for it to be legal!

If 40% of people who vote want to legalize marijuana, and that 40% amounts to millions and millions of people, isn't that enough?

The Majority is not always right. These smug politicians are so arrogant and out of touch when they say, "Well, the people have spoken." If a vote is 51% to 49% I hardly see how you make something illegal and say, "Well, the people have spoken."

When did Conservatives and republicans become "big government" anyway? Anything that has 51% of the people object to it merits a LAW against it? How is that consistent with the core belief in a small centralize government?

i really enjoyed how the one anchor used the "shot in the arm" metaphor to refer to the fiscal benefits of marijuana legalization
