[this is not me]

“There’s no one like me”
But, I see you like every other
“Please don’t let go” you plead
But, my heart still grows duller

“Who knows what the future holds”
But, we live in the present
“Please don’t become cold”
But, my mind just keeps guessin’

“I believe in communication”
But, it’s been days and still no word.
“You are my heart’s illumination”
But, my heart bleeds uncured.

“Why did you walk out”
There is no answer to my question.
“I’m here with a pout, and look like a lout”
Sadness consumes me and teaches me a lesson!
