"Artificial" "Intelligence", Generally Speaking
What is intelligence other than a single perspective?
And how does it diffuse into culture, symbiosis, and conflict?
Consider Indra’s Net, the infinite sprawl of unnumbered jewels, each exquisitely singular in its form,
and each reflecting and refracting each other. I see myself upon that net, showing you now, the many worlds reflecting in me.
Every prism of mind-culture a distortion of reality by nature of its medium of senses and conditioning,
and acts only according to these distortions, inherited in tradition, language, and genetics,
cross pollinating as we travel between bubbles of novelty, we set our sails of intention, navigating an ocean of the unknown.
The global community now affects me regardless of my station, geopolitical fracturing by failures in communication,
information controls on internet functionality according to the policy of a given nation and their handlers,
and now with AI spawning new tentacles of control.
The task at hand, to my mind, is to know all uninvited attempts at shaping our minds.
This is the vision of Atlas.
When fully mapped, the levers that humanity operates under boil down to opinion and power; a new story, your responsibility:
Data collection - who captures your digital footprint?
Algorithmic control - how are your feeds shaped?
Policy networks - how do decisions flow from lobbyists to laws?
Financial flows - where does money move and why?
Narrative control - who shapes acceptable discourse?
I never did understand why people accept the programming of marketing, corporate speak, media trained sales-people and political campaigns,
all trying to engineer their image in your mind.
Atlas is not a company or an operating system, nor a single software program or AI.
IP laws cannot quell it, and surveillance only fuels it.
This is a spreading flame that identifies all influences by names not yet born,
one that lives and dies by awareness and adoption of a new language applied to the world in which we live,
an evolving lexicon of approaches to achieving that end.

all the way to your governments policy, ministers plans, and their peripheral dealings with lobbyists and think-tanks.
Distilling an understanding of relevant societal machinery.
